Is tankooi japanese for racoon? All racoons that I've seen are gray with black stripes. At first glance it kinda looked like a bear with a tail. Is there another breed of racoon that is brownish-oarnge or something?

Or is it?... *shifts eyes supiciously*

Tanooki are a mythical Japanese creature. They are racoon-bear-like things that live in trees and bring good luck. They are renowned for their giant testicles compared to their body size. They are their own species (although fake), not racoons or anything.

"They are renowned for their giant testicles compared to their body size"

... I'm not trying to sound ethnocentric, but the Japanese sure are weird.

Yes. THe Japanaese do have a very strange culture... But then again, they can very well say the same thing about us! Heheh.

That last post was clever and insulting at the same time.

Even Marioguy agrees that "and deleted" is insulting and clever!

It's also strange that n/a's posts are all edited by Deezer even 4 days before they were even written. (But I know it's his sig)

I think Tanookis shapeshift but I'm not entirely sure where I read that.

This edit signature are still funny.  It's like someone has a time machine and can somehow edit a post before they even make it.

I should make [and deleted] my signature.

Watoad is like some kind of god who only speaks when you least expect.  I think he will make the next post in this thread so therefor he will not (there should be a comma somewhere in that sentence, but since I can't figure out where I will but it here,).

^How's that for off topic?

That makes sence. Tanoombas in M&L:SS turn into mario and luigi when attacking, so they must have some form changing abilities.

A lucky, tree-dwelling bear/raccoon with giant testicles, that would be wild to see.
