There are several attacks you can use.

1. Lower the opponent's ceiling by getting a match of 4+ objects.  You can lower it only 3 blocks at a time.

2. Fill the opponent's screen with a stack of the same monsters by getting chain reactions.  x2=1 stack, x3=2 stacks and so on.

3.  Turn all your opponent's bombs that are on the ground into corresponding monsters by clearing a diamond.

4. Send an egg to your opponent by clearing a match that goes in two different directions at once.  It can be in a V-form or an X-form, but not in a line.  The egg has the same effect as in the one-player mode.

Mario Chat / Re: unique errors?

Well, there are countless glitches that you'll encounter in your gameplay.  Some more elusive than others.  Then there are those unique ones that only one person has seen.  I've never actually experienced any of these, but there is a person that has 0"00 best lap in Mario Kart 64.

A Mario game that is disturbing, hmm...
I thought that Mario's Time Machine was odd ob both system and PC platforms.  It was (gasp)educational.  That and it wasn't a really good game to purchase.  Mario Is Missing is on the same level.  Do get back to me on SMB 2 on GCB, because I personally enjoyed it.

Now that is just downright strange.
ANYWAY...I would suggest more kart, along with ski and any other game which requires more of the characters than just them being a mascot(Tetris Attack).

I mentioned this before, but no one mentioned if it worked for them.  Use your timed attacks and defenses to the max.  Nintendo did not mention the timed special for Peach's or Mallow's healing techniques.  Mallow's HP Rain(rarely used) is timed right before the cloud fully disappears.  For Peach, right before the healing aura diminishes, or right before the reviving star comes in contact with your downed ally.  You can defend against ANY physical attack, with the exception of explosives(bullet bills, bombs), or magic attacks.  To defend against magic and those certain physical attacks, you would already have to be in the defense position. Even so, you still take half of the damage. To differentiate between magic and physical, look for the stars that appear on you attacked character.  Stars=physical, no stars=magic.  That ends my vast knowledge of the game for now.  I'm trying to get 100 super jumps(at 46 now...).  Must equip Peach with the Super Jacket!  I would like to compare my characters' level 30 stats with other people, so I'll be back with those.  In the meantime, give me yours :-)

Yes, I do have a Player's Guide to help me find the chests.  By the way, if you're talking to the purple Pandorite in Monstro Town to tell you how many hidden things you have left to find, YOU MUST TALK TO HIM FIRST BEFORE YOU FIND THEM ALL.  If you find all of the hidden treasures and talk to him for the first time, he will say you will have one more to find.  There is no way to change this.

In fact, none of the sponsor signs were changed in the course selection views for the English version!  If you look closely at Luigi Raceway, you'll see in the back that none of the signs have changed.  In Royal Raceway, the Yoshi 1 logos are still there, and in Mario Raceway, it is small, but you can see the black lettering of the "Luigip" sign.  I didn't even notice this or look into it until the Mario Kart 64 j-e page was posted.  Too bad they changed them.  It would've been hilarious.

AIM is really a helpful tool, and is more convenient than ICQ in some ways.  You will have a direct contact with any user you wish.  The latest version to date is 4.1.2010.  Have fun talking to all of your fans.  My guess is that your IM handle is Deezer.  Mine, RyokoYaksa.

Definitely another Mario Kart.  Mario Kart has been a classic through the years(you still won't believe the amount of people playing SMK!).  I hear that David Wonn has a 1"99 final lap on Ghost Valley 1 :-).  Anyway, kart is indeed a good game to make a continuing franchise of.  Kart in 128 bit with Internet capabilities will be a major treat!  But keep the same line-up of drivers, have more courses(at least 20 racing, 5 battle) and have a different GP scoring system, like...
1st place-7 points
2nd place-6 points
3rd place-5 points
4th place-4 points
5th place-3 points
6th place-2 points
7th place-1 point
8th place-0 points
This'll provide more of a balance between every player racing.  It's just not fair to have worked hard to place 5th, and have the same score as that loser who placed 8th.  Oh, and a Time Trial Mode is a given.

To get Donkey Kong, you have to get at least 30 stars in the Ring Shot mode.  To get Bowser, you will have to progress through the get Character Mode until you finally get to him.  I was able to complete every mode with Peach.  Tourament, Ring shot.  Facing against Bowser with Peach was tough!  I have a 1-1 win-loss stat with him.

Game Help / Re: Here's are TIPS for SMRPG

We are coming up with good stuff!  Here are some things that not everyone knows about.  Not even Nintendo posted up my Timed Healing techniques.

Anyhow, it is possible to defeat Dodo one-on-one with Peach, and it's really not that hard, but my character's stats are much different from everyone else's.  I make it so that I increase their Attack and magic levels are high, but try to make their HP levels over 200 in the process, and also make optimal use of the extra point bonuses.  (145 attack Peach!!!)  Back to Dodo.  If you always put Peach in the middle like me, then use a Timed Defense for Dodo's Multistrike.  Right after he goes back into position, I think.  Dodo's Multistrike should only take away 40 HP tops even if you miss.  Have a fuzzy dress and Safety Ring equipped on her, as you should always.  There are also Timed Specials for healing techniques.  All of them.  For Peach, press Y right before the aura diminishes, of right before the star comes in contact with your downed ally.  For Mallow, right before the cloud disappears.  This heals about 20+ more HP, which just might save you from a KO.

Site Discussion / Mario Kart 64 MP3s
« on: August 30, 2000, 08:20:20 PM »
I have them all.  They sound pretty good, too.  RRd, KD, KTB, Credits.  You can get them off of me at Napster(ryokoblaze).  I figured they would be a good addition to the relatively small MP3 section.
