The contents of this message have been removed by me. The reason I did this was I realized how far from the truth I have gone in these two posts and do not want an untruth lying on this board, certainly not by me!

Yes, I apologize. What I think is the SNES is an example of a good blend of graphics and gameplay. What I also think is most Nintendo 64 games are a good example of graphics going too far and gameplay being tied to a 10-ton weight. Here's what I think - it's Ok to make 3D games, just give us classic gamers some good 2D once in a while. And don't be shy about spending a while on a game! Sheesh! I'd rather wait a year or two for a classic Mario game than 3 months for some over-rated short and sour 3D game. Keep in mind more are coming out all the time! Right now, our only source of good classic gaming is the Game Boy.

It seems there is some question over SMB3 and SMW. Well, truthfully, I like them both(Ok, so I like SMB3 better. So what?). SMB3 is great. It's packed with worlds, levels, settings, powerups, mini-games, bosses, graphics, replay value, and fun. SMW has all of those except for powerups, mini-games, and replay value. All of the powerups I can remember are the old trio, and I would hardly consider calling Yoshi a powerup. It did have some but not as many mini-games, SMB3 was full of them even if it did reuse 2 or so. And seeing them on the map was cool. After beating 96 goals, do you really want to do it again? The reason SMW tipped up to the middle of the balance was because of the good graphics, music, spirit, new things, and SAVE FUNCTIONALITY. SMB3 was great... but you couldn't save. As for SMB3 in SMAS - I would hardly consider saving your world saving at all! You can go right back to the world you were on(up to world 8) in the "old" SMB3 by actually beating I think 3 levels or less! But don't get me wrong... I'm not dissing SMW... I love both! Just giving my opinion... of course SMW isn't even one of the choices is it.................

Yeah, I agree. They need to focus on the gameplay and replay before they jump into graphics. I once went to a website for SNES enthusiasts that said the graphics don't really matter to a degree.. the gameplay counts. Then in the mailbox section this kid argued with the webmaster that gameplay didn't matter at all.. it's graphics that count. I sort of believe this is what is happening to these companies today.. they invest in the population with big eyes.

Oh.. and DarKnight13 and all of you.. I'm not hammering Paper Mario _that_ much! I was merely throwing in a contrast element.

It could be basically any two words with a total of three sylables that end rhymes with after or soul. However, try to stay within the theme of the game...coughVelvetDark007wheezecough...

My guess is that's a picture from Super Mario Kart R, which I _think_ is Mario Kart 64 in it's early stages.

Wow...I posted a message like this a long time ago...history repeats itself, huh? Anyway... Yeah, that'd be great. It shouldn't be done like Yoshi's Story, it should be just like Mario for the NES or SNES with a 64-bit color pallete. And 64-bit music! :P If they wanted to put enough work into it, they could make a really great game. I know I'd buy it. What do you mean. of course it would have map screens! :)

HOW could you not like the Game Boy Color? It's the best pocket system ever(With the exception of the GBA, on thin ice, IMO)! Well, that's beside the point. My favorites are SML1 & 2, and SMBDX.

Video Game Chat / Re: No, it's not a Dolphin

Yes.  They call it a dolphin so you will think it's friendly and bring it into your house, however, it's really a shark, as you find out, but it's too late. There goes your Nintendo days...
Good one.
