Oh, I love Mario music. In a directory on the computer that I now am using, there is a folder called "Music." inside that folder, we see 5 others: Games, MP3s, My Remixes, Recorded, and TMK Radio Songs. "Games" branches out into NES, SNES, and SG. The NES and SNES folders are full of Mario music. In fact, I even wrote a track list for all Mario NSFs in the NES folder! "Recorded" includes several Mario Party recordings along with other N64 music, and "TMK Radio Songs" contains some of my all-time favorite songs heard on TMK. So, as you can see, Mario music is very popular according to me. Also according to me, Britney Spears is noise, but that's a different story. ;)

I don't plan on leaving soon either. Ditto what Hinopio and Webpro said. As for topic bores, remember that time people were voting to close the U.S. trademark office because they thought everything had already been invented? Heck, the electric light hadn't even been invented. I tend to lean in that direction. (*Wha-*) My computer made an odd sound. Gotta go.

Edit: Patent office, not trademark office. It's late.

Mario Chat / Re: Has anyone been here as long as me?
« on: August 18, 2000, 08:11:03 PM »
Yes, I've been here a long time. None of you probably remember but my first post was called "Side Scrolling Classics." It got about five replies. That was also about how many people there were. All I remember were Hinopio, Kat, daFunkster, Yoshi348, and TRM. Of course there were Deezer and DavidDayton. I even remember the day the post "Mr. Face?" had 0 replies. Those were the days.

Mario Chat / Re: What new Mario game are you anticipating?
« on: August 18, 2000, 07:55:58 PM »
Paper Mario Story. I just looooooooove RPGs. Especially SMRPG. That, of course, is the reason I'm anticipating it. Plus, those screen shots look cool. :P
Also, Mario Tennis. Mario Golf was very cool, and I'm sure Mario Tennis will be too.
And to make matters better or worse(whichever you think :) ,I'm also excited about Mario Kart Advance. The DSP and Mode 7 bring tears to my eyes.
I was going to say that Star Cubish Mario game, but seeing as how we really don't know a thing about it yet(we're in the Sega building, as I say), I'll be safe from it.
In short, I really am too full of anticipation. (Explodes in result of emotional outlet)

Only five? Awwwww...
Anyway:

1. SNES - SMAS + SMW (Favorites and favorites and favorites, oh my.)
2. SNES - Tetris & Dr. Mario (This game is very fun. Tetris against the master computer is very frustrating. Also, Dr. Mario is torture on high level 20.)
3. SNES - F Zero (The OutRun 2019 of the SNES: Just look at Mute City.)
4. N64 - Super Mario 64 w/Walkthrough (This game remains one of my favorites. As it turns out, Toad really IS nice.)
5. SNES - BSX (Perhaps I could rewire that sattelite addon to contact a rescure squad...)

"Need we think about it yet?" said Sam. "Surely we're not going to move any more today, if day it is?"

Mega 2(And whoever else cares) :Wow... I sort of remember once a long time ago finding something on the web about Vs. Mario Bros. by accident containing a brief history and some screen shots. I can't tell you what site it was, I honestly don't remember, and I tried numerous times to find it again. However, that game IS real. From what I recall, it was like Mario Bros. only with about 4 different screens, alternate graphics on each screen(platforms, enemies), and it was slightly harder. Hope it helps. Maybe I already told you(whoops!).

Oh, it's fine. I really didn't mean to disrupt any peace either. So, no harm done. Now, everyone who's reading this, the show's over, so kindly hit all your back buttons on all of your browsers and start living again.

All right. I'm sorry, I don't think I want to see Mario with hand grenades and proximity bombs. Also, swearing, blood, guts, and gore don't really go with Mario. I'll agree that Yoshi's Story was very kiddish, and Yoshi's Island could have stood *a little* less crayon, but no, I really think Mario Nukem is going too far. In fact, to be honest, I actually don't even approve so far of this "mature Mario" business. Oh, and if anyone cares, I'm not trying to offend anybody.

As long as we're talking about this, I was on vacation for about 2 weeks. (Sighs) I love the mountains.
