Yep... Those were the days... But, you've got to admit - the N64 didn't have too bad a run, Mario-wise, either. You know, now you can look back on it. But yes, the SNES era was probably Nintendo's highest point (particularly in '95 - you know, Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong Country 2, Kirby's Fun Pak).

Don't know... In some games, like Super Mario Bros. 3 and such, the time limit adds a sort of 'pace', and I think that works. Stick a time limit into something like Yoshi's Island, though, and the game becomes... worse, basically. Reckon Nintendo knows when to use 'em and when to not.
I'll side with you, Sey. Smash Bros Melee was an enormous dissapointment. It was a good game, yes, but very dissapointing. Now go and play Luigi's Mansion.
