It's because all the good anime is on Adult Swim and the stories are too complex for an 11-year old to understand and every other anime is too kiddy. Don't capitalise my name.

DiC made Mario a joke. They hired lazy artists that screwed up the animation, and made episodes that had little or no plot to them, or just didn't make any sense, like "Gopher Bash", "Send in the Clown", "Party Line", and "Toddler Terrors of Time Travel."

How oblivious are those animators? Don't they realize that they just aired a episode with highly noticable errors? Like in the episode "A Toadally Magical Adventure," when Toad is yelling "To save us all, I must use the wand!" and waving the wand around in the air, the drawing cells of the wand's glow and the wand itself aren't matched up at ALL.

Why do most video game cartoons suck so bad? The reason Sonic X seems almost flawless is because the creator of Sonic is supervising its production. Shigeru Miyamoto should have done that with the Mario cartoons, instead of just letting these idiots create them.

If a new Mario cartoon is aired in the future, it should be computer animated, and the voices are those you can compare to those in the game.
