The mic is only used in party mode at random.  If a 1 vs 3 game is in effect, it will either play like normal or suddenly switch to a mic game.  That's only happened for me once or twice.

Hey without a "Gamecube Mic" in Mario Party 6, you can press R button to see on the sign to help it. I think is too easy without microphone.

I like how in one board, when you get to the Star Space you can trade in for as many Stars as you have coins for.

I don't think Mario Party 5 had board variations like that.

I like 6 except how they:

1) Got rid of the bonus coin star and made it a capsule star. (I usually finish with around 140 coins...)

2) Made the game look intended for children under 5.

Really, it's like, at least to me, they mixed the best of each of the previous games while adding several new features to improve it.  I too love the board variations.

Just as a random question, what is everyone's record in Endurance Alley?  So far, the farthest I've gotten is 47 consecutive wins, though I understand that when one reaches 100 something happens.
