E3's coming up, and you were the one kind enough to endure a 70-minute-long chat with me to tell me about it, so I wish to say "Happy B̷irthday, MEGAߥTE!" and present you with this fake return as a "gift."

This should hopefully be a little more meaningful than a Facebook wall scratching. Somehow.

(Emphasis on fake.)

It's that time again, friends. Too much + too little ≠ Fungi Forums. Same old formula, now back in fashionably short fashion. You'll very likely see me again before the earth blows up or otherwise ends.

At least I'm leaving you with a parting gift or something. And I don't mean this text, though you'd be right to think so considering my recent posts.

Oh, thanks! ^^;

Are you referring to the picture of me in the Stargate? If so, then yeah, that picture is a bit blurry. By now there are probably more pictures of me than anyone else floating about the Fungi Forums (how vain! >_<), so you have much better stock to choose from than that. Even this thread should contain several.

Whoa, scarily clever emoticon there, Birdy Boy.

Lizard has a good point. That's why I've been as free as I have with posting images and other information. It's when people can see you in your underwear that you're taking a real risk of being found.

When I was in Japan, I got a Japanese-style haircut, and I liked it a lot better than anything I've been able to get back here. So finally today I went to an Asian salon/barber in Seattle and got a close approximation of what I had received in Asia. The man who cut my hair put wax in it at the end, and it's still there now. Normally I don't use anything in my hair other than shampoo and water, but I'd be curious to know what you guys think of the candle look.

After taking about two million photographs of myself, I managed to get a few that are in focus and look all right. I hope they give you a feel for what my hair and I actually look like. The pics aren't all that special, so I'll hide them behind links this time around:

General Chat / Re: Amazing Unexperiences
« on: January 07, 2006, 12:24:13 AM »
I've noticed some abnormally strong disapproval of topic-bumping lately, so I guess I should apologize for this post or something. What I have to say is not "phenomenal." If you ask me, however, bumping is often a better choice than creating a new topic.

Before today, there was another item on my life's list of unexperiences that I didn't think to include in my lists here:

  • Played DDR

Today that unexperience came to an end. What's really notable about it, sadly, is that I didn't like it at all. Sorry, Lizard Dude.

I was unable to stay centralized on that little, metal square in the middle, and I couldn't find the arrows with my feet without taking my eyes off of the screen—which messed me up every time I did. Never before have I gotten so frustrated so quickly with a video game. It was really quite sad. I slammed the soles of my shoes onto the flashing plastic in anger, at one point half fell off the platform, and ended up altogether walking away before the song ended.

"Stupid Japanese video games!" I thought.

But at least I knew, even as I thought so, that I was wrong. I still take pride in knowing Montana's third-best player, and he is permanent proof to me that DDR is mysteriously somehow a great game.

Thank you for that, Suffix! I love those things you create, and it makes me smile to watch one with my name in it. :) You can be sure that I saved it to my hard drive.

I found the non-easter-egg easter egg, and that's it. Is the other one findable simply by clicking somewhere? Or do you even give easter egg hunting hints?

General Chat / Re: Where's Deezer?

I want to note publicly that I was in Chicago, Illinois earlier today, but I had no sightings of Deezer. My conclusion: No one has paid the ransom or otherwise rescued him from the stuffed animals yet.

Deezer is correct. What you see in those photos is exactly what I got from my camera.

Nice Engrish!

Warp factor 10?! She can't take it, Captain!

(Photographer's note: Of the six pictures posted, the only one altered with image software is the red ornament one—I cropped it.)
