I personally prefer using interpreters like C+ and VisualBasic (not just for weenies anymore, ok!) to code my own stuff, and feel the same way about games (although I haven't coded any games myself- yet).  Actually, I'm really not vary good at programming, but I try  ; )

On that note, does anyone know of some good C++ tutorial sites?  I have reviewed the literature for awhile now, but it is still a little confusing.  I may end up taking a class (no pun intended) to get used to the language.

Perfect Dark?  It's a keeper.  With more options and modes than you can shake a stick at, I can finally put Goldeneye to rest (except for those all nighters when we have to pull it out for old times' sake...)

Believe it or not, I like being able to turn off the language.

I can't believe Napster is dead... there's nothing quite like staying up past 2 with your buddies leeching Napster with a cable modem.

Umm, it's been awhile since I've played... but yeah.  I remember that to reach the blue switch palace you have to, like, find a fake wall on the floor of the water level in Forest of Illusion.  TMK should have more detailed info...

Ok, I know I did this already, but this line describes me better-

"I only wish that it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.  "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times.  But that is not for them to decide."

Yeah, that's the one.  Cool beans.  See, I want to try Linux (cause it's free, and I don't have any money ; )  Only problem is it is a 1.2 gig download (2 ISOs)... anyway, thanks for the info!

Believe it or not, there is an 'official' All your base web site.  I forget the URL, just search for 'all your base.'  They've got a really funny shockwave movie/slideshow of AYB pictures and screenshots.

That's OK. ; )  Linux is an operating system, just like MacOS, BeOS, DOS, and the dreaded MS Windows.  The only difference is that Linux is free.  I was just wondering if anyone had personal experience with Linux and could offer opinions before I began downloading two 650 MB ISOs for the OS.

« on: July 14, 2001, 11:39:26 PM »
Cut to the Bowser home, where the 7 koopalings are seated around a table in a dark room, hacking away at some project.  Nails, drills, hammers, glue, and all other what not are flying around the table.  Suddenly and without warning, Lemmy jumps to his feet and yells, "Done!"  He holds aloft in his outstretched hand none other than a shiny new SOCK PUPPET made with none other than Wario's STOLEN SOCK!!!  The other Koopa Kids finish their sock puppets and proceed to the torture chamber, where King Bowser is busy flogging some slacker goombas.  "Daddy, daddy!  We want to put on a puppet show for you!", the grimy koopalings whine in unison.  They continue begging even though they get no response.  Roy and Ludwig were just about to start tugging on their father's studded shell when he turned around and...
