They probably wanted a Zelda title released early and 5 year old cartoon Link was probably a quicker way to do that. They're probably saving their better looking Zelda game for when they have more time.

And just because MS and LM are so far apart doesn't mean they can't be linked. Banjo-Tooie is somehow needed to make an island rise in Banjo-Kazooie and they were released 2 years apart.

Oh, I get it now! But I don't find it funny. Cleopatra was bitten by an "asp" and Napolean was exiled to "Elba"

Koopa Troopas that don't work for Bowser aren't Koopas. They're turtles. Koopa Troopas just mean they're soldiers for Koopa. For example, if Deezer had soldiers, they would be Wasielewski Troopas.

The ray gun/jet pack thing looks suspiciously like Luigi's ghost-sucker-upper from Luigi's Mansion. And also, Mario games are getting too easy. For Super Mario Bros. 1, it took me from 1989 till just today to beat it. I still haven't beaten 2 or 3, and I beat Paper Mario in a week!

there are many pipes leading from the mushroom universe towards ours, such as one in brooklyn, one in hollywood, one in rome, one in france, and one in antarctica.

Mario and Luigi make their home floating above Toad Town, with one pipe in the front leading to Toad Town and a pipe in the back leading to a tennis court.

And also I've got to disagree with RK on the "Koopa race" Koopa is Bowser's last name. And the only thing I agree with the movie is this: goombas are lower beings in the same class of creatures as mushroom people.

Goomba is to mushroom as chimpanzee is to human.

I liked Luigi and Toad's voice from the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. As for Mario, I liked his Mario Tennis voice, and I liked Peach's MarioKart 64 voice.

Well i sure hope it isnt as bad as another gameboy advance racing game. when you fall into a hole, instead of someone picking your character up, in your place is a pig that hobbles up and down on the course. and the opening song is just frightening:

"Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye racing! Alright!
Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye racing!
Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye racing!
Alright!
Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye racing!"
Horrifying!

even if bush WAS the president at the time, which i doubt, he was not the president at the time mario and luigi became plumbers because they were plumbers in Mario Bros. which was in 1983! When REGAN was president! and i cant disagree with you with the Gorbachev thing because when I got the tapes in '89 or '90, they had Mario cartoons, Zelda cartoons, and Mario live action sequences. when i came across them in '97, the had Mario cartoons and Mario live action. just this morning i watched them again, and all they had were Mario cartoons! Nothing else! The only live action sequence I remember was when Mario and Luigi's old lady aunts were coming to the apartment and it was so painfully obvious that Lou Albano and Danny Wells also played the aunts!

did I leave little Anonymous Mario Fan out of the fun? well here's your answer:

what about mario? he looks alot different in Yoshi's Cookie also. i doubt that game was even made by shigeru but by some off-branch of nintendo trying to make money off of the same stupid tetris/kirbystarstacker type of game!

and in case i totally misunderstood your question, i do believe the Yoshi Cookie from Paper Mario looks more like baby Yoshi
