Banned. I have no patience for this. Pardon me for doing my job.

Would you like me to decapitalize your username for you? I can even replace the underscores with spaces if you want! :)

They were singing the Hakodate (the city I was in) version of the Tanabata song. I don't remember the name of the song, and I never learned the lyrics, so that's about the best I can describe it. It was way cooler than hearing "Trick or treat!" over and over again, though.

I own that game but never got a chance to play it all that much. The prequel to it, however, got lots of my attention back in the day.

. . . Yeah, caught red-handed. I scrapped it for regular old captions this time because I wanted more than three people to read what I had to say. But don't worry! This doesn't signal the end of my liberal use of that attribute.

WOW. Sapphira wins.

What are you talking about?!!

Here are some more things that I've never done:

  • Played LoZ: A Link to the Past for more than two or three minutes at a time
  • Read a Redwall book
  • Posted in Story Boards
  • Used any of God's names as a swear word
  • Watched any TV show that began over the last five to seven years (in America)
  • Done a cartwheel
  • Been to a real concert (i.e. not counting those held at my family's church)
  • Gone skiing or snowboarding
  • Had any formal education in geography (which embarrasses me because I don't know where anything is)

Mß, I appreciate the advice, mainly because I'm consistently stunned by your ability to track things on eBay, but also because, well, I just appreciate getting advice from you. My goal in this situation, though, is more to help a fellow forum member than to make money, so I'm going to continue with the transaction as proposed. It's sort of similar to how I sent you that Japanese stuff, I would say.

I can't contribute to the Nintendogs discussion, but I can share some pics of my house's jack-o'-lanterns with you guys:

;P

The one on the left has carvings all of the way around, as you can tell a little from the lower-left portion of the middle guy's head.

The "Boyz" and "Men" of the jack-o'-lantern on the right were carved with a Dremel tool.

"My group," as it were (or was), carved this one, but I actually didn't do any of it.

The only credit I can take here is providing the template for Pac-Man (after someone else came up with the idea), which came from one of my fonts.

Not officially, no. Actually, probably not at all, but everyone from there whom I've met knows about it; Harowin (ハロウィン) is an official word in their language.

Interestingly, however, the Tanabata (七夕) festival—which is celebrated throughout the country—is sort of like Halloween in the city at which I was staying, and nowhere else. I took a brief (and jerky) video of the cooler-than-"trick-or-treat" event while I was there. (It occurs on the seventh day of the seventh month (July 7th).)

EDIT: The seventh month is spelled "July," not "June." Weird. The l, y, n, and e keys aren't even close to each other. I mean, I'm weird.
