Wrong thread, Trainman?

Seventeen minutes to load? Yikes...

Wait... the hell? I think I had two tabs open and posted in the pointless topic, but the second I hit reply, I switched to my other tab before it loaded, then the post I had for this topic got blown up because Luigison posted before me... sooo, I think I thought this was pointless and resubmitted my post without thinking about it.

God, that was long-winded.

@Luigison: game much?

Everyone past the first review seems to be absolutely clueless.

Are you sure you're actually "Moronic", Moronic Rascal?

When it comes to being a rascal, yes.

(i think about half an inch?).

3.8 cm, so about 1.5"

This appeared on my Facebook.

Also, I made this because I like taking screencaps of peoples' dumb expressions when I'm watching Judge Judy cases on Youtube. This guy reminded me so much of Akroyd in Coneheads, so I had to illustrate it.

Also, lol.

Apart from being able to get more money from the games being released separately (as they are, of course), I now see why Nintendo didn't decide to release All-Stars on VC.

I say we go with what IMAO has been suggesting for years - nuke the moon.  If it exists, it can be nuked, and vice-versa.

Why don't we just cram all the moon-ain't-really-thar people into a rocket with a lunar landing module (after beating them mercifully) and send them straight to the moon to see for themselves.

Oh wait, no, 'cause then they'd all think the launch/trip/landing was some convoluted, super-advanced computer simulation using technology that the government has been harboring ever since they discovered it in the Roswell incident 63 years ago.

How do I know this? I was there, man.

Well, I got my picture in the newspaper. A photographer for the local newspaper came to the skatepark, and when I asked him what the article was about, he said, "We're doing an article to show that the skatepark scene is actually a good, clean one because it tends to get a bad rap." Pretty cool, right? There's a catch, though. A small ministry team originating from Wisconsin called "Skaters of Christ" had been touring the country and ended up at our skatepark. We were not aware that the photographer for the newspaper had been recruited by Skaters of Christ the day before to come get media of them visiting for the following day (especially when the photographer made no mention of the team when I talked to him).

The caption below the picture reads: "Skaters with a Message - Members of Skaters of Christ participate in a demonstration Thursday at the Temple Skatepark. Getting ready to drop in to the ramp are [our names]. Skaters of Christ is a skateboard ministry that tours the country with a goal of sharing the message of Jesus Christ with extreme sports athletes."

That's me in the middle on my bike. Everyone who appeared in that picture was named in the caption, as you just read. However, the caption seems to be borderline slanderous because it virtually flat out states (or at least heavily implies) that all pictured were part of the group especially when no one in the picture was actually a member of Skaters of Christ and were actually just locals of the skatepark, myself included.

While I may or may not have the same views as Skaters of Christ and may or may not support them, I was kinda bothered by the fact that we were identified incorrectly. While it doesn't say "Members of Skaters of Christ, [our names], prepare to drop in", it definitely implies it, and who will be the only people that know we're not part of the group? Only us 7 that appear in the picture and others that know us that know we're not part of the group.

Well, if I remember correctly, Peach wasn't in NSMB Wii as playable because of skirt animations being difficult to create (I know that was a joke), but still, with the way Nintendo is sometimes, it wouldn't surprise me if that were kinda like a half-joke... kinda like when someone says something seriously, but if they get called out on it they can quickly fall back and go, "no no no no lolllll that was a joke. We're just playin."

Point being, Nintendo would prolly think it'd be too hard to do textures on Mario's overalls for a platformer or whatever. However, I would really love to see that, as well as a revamp of environments being less bright, and more bump-mappy. Good example is Space Junk Galaxy when you're on the rocketship. It's all texture-y and has that awesome sheen. Also, King Kaliente (or however you spell it). The cooled, black lava around the lava pit has that awesome lighting to it. Oh yeah, can't forget the fuzz on the bees and some of the enemies in Mario Galaxy.

If you remember in the trailers for Galaxy 2, quiiiite a bit of the grass had the "fuzz" effect on it, but then when the game came out, it went back to the solid, blocky look. Examples below.

Interpretations of the Mario series never cease to amaze (and sometimes sicken) me.

I think what was actually wrong with your anecdote was that you appear to esteem Mario higher than cute girls who compliment you.

(I, fortunately, do not have to choose between the two.)

Yeah, my girlfriend loves that I enjoy the hell out of Mario.

3) Speaking of girls...- I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, but I find it absolutely hilarious that CrossEyed mentions the fact that he has a girlfriend anytime the topic of girls (Romantically or otherwise) comes up.

lolololol

Hmm.. It won't let me edit again for some reason. Trainman: I want to apologize for the joke about 1-Up Mushrooms that I made ages ago when your friend (relative?) passed. It was wrong and out of place.

It was a relative, and nah, it was fine. I wasn't offended.
