True, although they had some NSMBW-esque World 1 scenery toward the beginning of the routine.

Bowser couldn't show up, he had a show on ice in the eighties.

I am impressed they decided to have someone dressed as Toad instead of Yoshi. Usually Toad gets the shaft in events such as this.

When were Toad and Toadette ever considered siblings? I've always seen them as "male mushroom person" and "female mushroom person", for the most part.

I'm ok with them being able to pick their own identities, but does that mean there's more than one Toad character now (the main Toad. I get that they're all called Toads..)

I bought my N64 used.. sometime 1998, I think. With Mario Kart 64 and another controller. They were both grey colored controls, and I'm going to assume they were used also. Upon playing the first Mario Party, the P1 controller had to be replaced (and I subsequently had to stop playing games for a week), so surprise, we got another grey one.

We eventually got two more controllers over the course of the N64's run: a green one (for my sister since that was her favorite color at the time) and a yellow one (my favorite color, and still one of my favorites). All the controllers have henceforth lasted through all the rough gaming we've done.

Huh. Well that's pretty weird. After all of the searching I've done, we're the only two I know of with such a unique problem.

I'll probably eventually get a 3DS SP. When it's the same price as a used Old 3DS in today's market.

Not yet, but I did find the problem. If I put too much pressure on the left side of the system while it is closed, it shuts itself off. My 3DS and my cell phone share a pocket when I am out at work or running errands, and sometimes my cell phone will unfortunately sit in exactly the wrong spot on the 3DS..

I originally switched the pockets they were in because I am a cashier, and the device we use to deactivate electronics was on the same side I kept my cell phone and 3DS in. So switched the pockets they sat in (from front left to front right, since I don't want to accidentally erase my cell phone or 3DS).

I did find they can sit beside each other in my pocket with little/no trouble.

So, I've got a first generation 3DS system. Sometimes when I close it and put it in sleep mode, it will shut itself off at that time instead of going into sleep mode, and I have to hit the power button to turn it back on. Not always a big deal, but sometimes I'm at work and carry it around with me for streetpasses (hence, not always being able to check and see if it's in sleep mode or shut itself off).

Does anybody else have this problem, or what did you do to fix it?

She's an assist trophy in Brawl! One of my favorites.

Also: I didn't know GameFreak made platformers. I might have to look into this one.

On-topic: I've been playing games, but not really enough to post in this thread like others have. A couple I would have to invoke the "played for eight hours" rule (Puzzle and Dragons and Animal Crossing: New Leaf) since they have little/no story.
