Wow, people who actually DON'T KNOW what the original Mario game was called shouldn't be here. Your statement is actually the other way around. It's actually called Super Mario Bros., but people call it Super Mario.

Well, now calm down... maybe he's from another country where it had a different name... ;)

P.S. OMG, I just realized that, by definition, SMB2's real name is Super Mario Bros. 2: Mario Madness!

No, I think Mario Madness is just a slogan they put on there for advertising. It isn't part of the logo.
That was a joke.

Well, I can understand if "Gotta Catch 'em All!" is under the Pokemon logo, but when there's a massive black bar... well, something fishy's going on here!

HA. I found all 3 of thoughs games on Ebay for .99 cents. I was going to buy them but then I read that it sayed that Super Mario Bros 2 dident work somtimes. So I dident buy it because that was the only one I was aiming for.
Time is repeating itself. Why you say? Look at the Wii and NES and you'll know why.

Actually, I think that is the full name of the game, probably just to keep it apart from confusion of SMB2J.

Is it just me, or does Mario's right leg in the SMB2 box art seem a bit...off?

No, it's just a slogan that does not show up anywhere in the actual game.
