Rumors are going around that there may be a Wario Ware game created for use with the Wii Fit Balance Board. If this so happens to be true, I'll actually purchase Wii Fit with the Balance Board. I think they could make some cool Microgames with this peripheral.

So what do you all think?

Nah, I don't think so. There's only so much you can do with a bathroom scale wannabe.

More like, if there's anything you can do with a bathroom scale wannabe, WarioWare will show it to you.

I was a bit iffy about Wario Ware in the beginning period. Then I played it and was amazed with the concept.

Wario: Stand!
Mona: You put your weight a little on each foot!
Jimmy: You put you weight a lot on each foot!
9-Volt: You put your weight on each foot--to old games!
Orbulon: Answer logic questions... while putting your weight on each foot!
Kat & Ana: Draw things by rubbing your feet around!
Wario-Man: Do all that stuff, but involving Wario!

The last thing we need is another "Wario Ware" game. Stupid franchise ruining my favorite Mario character.

Why can't Wario go back to Platformers?

I give Wario Ware kudos for reinventing Wario. Sure he still has incredible greed and a rude 'tude (which no Wario should go without), but he also sports a sexy jean jacket and the coolest chopper I've ever seen. Plus, Wario's character fits better with the frantic Wario Ware series.

For me, Wario Ware beats Wario Land and destroys Wario World any day of the week.

I easily favor Wario Ware to Wario Land. WL is a great game and all, but Wario Ware has loads of replay value and can have one going for a long time.

I'll buy it if it uses the Balance Board, Wheel, AND Zapper. At the same time.

a Wario Ware Balanced game with head tracking would be great. too bad Nintendo is too lazy/stupid/whatever to actually implement that into a game.

I'm not so sure about this... not about Wario Ware, about having the balance board.  Look at how much of a flop the EyeToy was for the PS2.  But then, I suppose the Wii is actually built around motion-sensing, and not just motion-sensing peripherals.

Which sucked so bad because of the damage already done to Wario with that wretched factory.

I've come to realize that unless I'm trying to unlock levels, Wario Ware is kind of weak on the single player side, but its great multiplayer makes up for it. Not to mention that the microgames are hysterical the first time you see them.

Expect Jack Thompson to sue Rockstar tomorrow for the announcement of GTA Wii. "It's one step beyond reality." he'll say, "It was announced at "T.M.K." a secret front organization for the industry that vandalized my house and is aiding Al-Qaeda in creating Antimatter bombs."

Anyway, I'm a big Wario Ware fan but I don't plan on buying the Balance Board anytime soon, so I'd have to skip on the game. Plus, there's only so much you could do with a little white board that senses pressure.

Wasn't the EyeToy originally Nintendo's idea, but they never used it? (Stage Debut? The GameEye? I remember reading this old Nintendo Power...)

Well, that figures. Nintendo and Sony were working together on a disc-reading system until Sony struck out on their own with the Playstation for some reason.

Actually, from what I heard, Nintendo betrayed Sony and instead made a deal with Phillips to make a CD attachment for the SNES. Sony became boiling with anger and released the Playstation. The rest is history.

You are both wrong because Hiroshi Yamauchi was the one boiling with anger when he realized the contract that Nintendo had agreed to would give Sony the rights to whatever properties were put on the SNES CD Play Station addon and backed out of the Sony deal.
That was a joke.

All the people saying this are daft. They made an entire awesome WarioWare based only on turning the GBA left and right. The Balance Board has at least four times the possibilites of that.

Yeah, which is why it makes even more sense for it to show up again. I probably mentioned this before, but... c'mon! It involves motion control, it's cutesy and simple, it was announced earlier and then canceled... I bet we'll see something on it at next year's E3, if not this year's.

Kirby Air Ride for the balance board is one of the greatest ideas I've heard in a lonnnng time.

speaking of Kirby, where's my Kirby's Adventure (GCN), Nintendo? it was announced back in 2005 and since then it quietly was moved to Wii, and since then, nothing.

The first WarioWare was fun, but the others have been kind of meh for me. I'm not sure why. Maybe I just miss the simplicity of the first one, just using the control pad and A button without having to move anything. And Master of Disguise wasn't that bad.

Original WarioWare was great for its time, but its passe now. Touched is... forgettable. Twisted rocks. Mega Party Games has the best multiplayer ever--and that's it. Smooth Moves is actually pretty awesome, but it doesn't have a whole lot of unlockable minigames. (and its console-ness hampers the replay value).
