GameCube and PS2 are far more popular and successful than that dopey Microdick crap called the X-tremely dumb-bux!
People who like video games should also like Nintendo. People who don't like Nintendo obviously don't like video games.

I agree with that statement. I don't get the existence of the xbox. no offense to other people but it's just not as fun as I thought it would be.

Worst game ever = Max Payne

It's a piece of crap, but there's something in it that just makes you keep playing it until you beat it.

There IS a funny joke near the end where these two villans start talking about Bullet Time.

Mario, Mario, Mario! What happened to Mr. Andretti?

It's not like Bill Gates is reading this and crying. No one really cares that the X-Box sucks. And you're acting like it's your fault that Nintendo doesn't suck? You have nothing to do with the suck factor of game consoles.

In my dream, the world had suffered a terrible disaster. A black haze shut out the sun, and the darkness was alive with the moans and screams of wounded people.
Suddenly, a small light glowed. A candle flickered into life, symbol of hope for millions. A single tiny candle, shining in the ugly dark. I laughed, and blew it out.

Grow up. Your opinion means no more than someone who likes the X-Box. The only difference is that person is not going to reply to you in a slanderous manner.

It's fine that you don't like the X-Box, I'm not going to lose sleep because you hate it, and I commend you for making a seperate topic instead of bashing it in another, but you could have use more tactful words, not to mention give an actual reason for dislikeing it.

Excuse me while I go get a tissue.

You don't know only because you don't want to know. Open your heart, embrace the X-Box, and don't make close minded decisions about something you know nothing of. This is not what life is about.

Okay folks, let's make some logical sense with this subject.

First of all, GameCube was released a few days later than X-Box, and it immediately sold more copies than X-Box! That proves that people were more loyal to Nintendo at the time [also, people were afraid of Microsoft's X-Box because they thought it was another attempt for Microsoft to monopolize the game industry...].

Secondly, there are really no good games for X-Box--unless you count the endless amounts of sports and racing games, many of which are simply copies of more-successful games on other systems [*cough* Project Gotham Racing *cough*].

Also, Microsoft just copied the ideas of other companies and incorporated their designs into the X-Box hardware. Such as SEGA's online gaming on the Dreamcast and Sony's DVD-ROM on the PS2. The X-Box really offers no new innovations to the videogame industry.

Finally, the X-Box was designed like a computer--and as such, it has been given the reputation that it is simply a cheap computer device that can play videogames! Whoopee, who want's to buy a computer/console hybrid when videogame systems were ORIGINALLY DESIGNED FOR ONLY ONE PURPOSE: VIDEOGAMES!

This has been my opinion on the X-Box and it's predictable death in the videogame society.

I honestly believe that Nintendo has the most loyal fans of any gaming company. And X-Boxers know it. I've noticed that on boards and forums the X-Box owners really get defensive and mean when you bad mouth the Box. I'm so glad to be a Nintendo freak since I got my NES for my first birthday. That was 15 yrs. ago. And as far I see, they're still the best game in town.

Gooch, you have a good honest point. Also, PlayStation has gotten a good reputation over the years, being that it is the most successful and best-selling videogame system in history--and the fact that is has the support of almost EVERY 3rd-party company!

It is obvious the X-Box will never get the amount of support and respect as the PlayStation because people are afraid of it--and the fact that not many people are trusting their faith in Microsoft.

Well then, do you people know what the PS2's full name is?

Play Station 2 Computer Entertainment System.

COMPUTER!

Ya know, I hear alot from X-Box owners ? Usually along the lines of, " Well, why can't the 'cube play DVD's and its barely internet compatible. If this happens to you, then just say, how come the 'cube cales exceed X-Box sales ? And walk away.
