I haven't heard anything about
Super Mario 128. What is it, exactly? I mean, I figured it was a new Mario game... but... where did you fellows get information on it?
By the way, I know a lot of kids my age (teenaged) that have sentimentality with Mario, even if they don't own a GameCube. Once the initial awe of games like Grand Theft Auto, Halo II, and whatever else PS2 and X-Box happen to be developing... (I don't keep track, though I own a PS2) wears off, they'll probably realize the appeal of the GCN.
And Mario owns. There's nothing else to it.
