When I said "not very portable" I ment compared to the other portables. I think Nintendo could've made a GBA SP when the first GB was made, or maybe a year or two after. SEGA made the GameGear: portable, color, self-lit.

No. Isn't DS shaped like the GBA in a way... or is it just a widened version of the SP?

Yes, to an extent. It looks like a fat GBA SP. Wide.
