I like a lot of what Monty Python did. However, some of what they did is outrageous, and only outrageous—not funny at all.

Anyway, I have Monty Python and the Holy Grail and the complete collection of Monty Python's Flying Circus on DVD.

So I know for next time, is it considered bad practice around here to dig up old threads?

No, actually, it's quite common and usually welcome.
Monty Python is OK, and a lot of their stuff is good, but some is bad, and a lot is just plain weird.

In my english class. we are doing an elizabethan masquerade ball.  My friends and I are dressing as jesters, and performing monty python sketches(along with other stuff).

The world would be a much cleaner place if people would eat their own trash.
