Me too!!

.. that reminds me of a question I was going to ask a while back, but forgot about: in which episode does Inspector Gadget visit the Mario Bros in the live action segment? Is it in the DVD sets, or is that another episode that's not on DVD yet..?

You mean the person that did Inspector Gadget, or the actual character?  Cause I don't really remember.

I've watched most of the episodes on the sets and I don't remember seeing him. For some reason, some of the live action segments were left out of the sets. Hence the "Bonus" cartoons on Volume 2. It may have been one of the ones left out...

I think I mean the character appearing in the show, but could be wrong..

I see this as the most likely scenario here. But, I'm definitley not complaining. Shout Factory went to a lot of trouble to get the show on DVD and must be respected for that. :)

I agree with Toad. I have both sets and certainly don't recall Gadget appearing. Nonetheless, Shout Factory gets major props for getting the series on DVD. ...How soon do you think they'll do AoSMB3?

Actually Inspector Gadget showed up on the live action Mario segment of the Legend of Zelda cartoon, so you'll need the Legend of Zelda DVD set to see it.

I have all 13 episodes on my Macs, but they aren't the best quality. (especially the white knight episode)  I'm thinking about getting the DVD set to see the episodes in better quality, and to say "I have the Legend of Zelda DVD set!"  Overall, I'm impressed with Shout Factory for getting those episodes on DVD.

I showed one of the bonus episodes from the second SMBSS DVD set to my little cousin, and I think Capt. Lou doing the Mario scared the crap out of her. lol

Really? I showed it to my nephews and they thought it was a riot. They were even trying to dance along with him and kept shouting "Do the Mario!"

Hmm...I kinda miss the little guys. They live way down in Florida. A long way from Michigan...

Well, my cousin is 15 years-old.  If you think about it, that show was aimed for little kids and die hard Mario fans.  She's not really either one of those (she likes Mario, but she's not as hard core as I am).  Heck, I did Link's "Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me, Princess!" line to sum up the Zelda cartoons, and she was just shocked (the OMG O_O sort of shocked).  I thought she might like some of the movie references that were made on the SMBSS.  Let's just say I will NOT be showing her anything from the live action Mario movie.

I loved the old Mario cartoons, no matter how silly they are. I'm kind of a cross between a huge Mario fan and a cartoon fan, so it works out nicely.

Reminds me of the time I taped the episodes of Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3 that aired on PAX about 7 years ago.

I wonder where that tape went...
