I have to go put my dog down today. Is it just me or is everyone around me dying?

My great aunt's dog, my aunt being my neighbor, got put down a few weeks ago... I didn't get to see him one last time.

Seriously, that is sad. My parents are probably going to put our dog down soon. Her eyesight is getting steadily worse, but sort of ironically, mom just can't do it. She didn't want the dog in the first place (around.. 12 or so years ago) and now can't let her go. Poor dog is old for a Yorkie her size (she is supposed to be a toy size, but I think someone said she's actually the standard size for a regular Yorkie, and around 12 or so years is really old for any Yorkie, or so I've been told. Leave it to us to get the most resilient Yorkie in the world.. XD

That really sucks, MASIAH.

I was under the assumption that Yorkies have a life expectancy of about fourteen years, though I'm probably wrong. Ours is only seven, but is considerably overweight.
