Already got Arkham City, will probably get Saints Row and Battlefield at a later date. I want the Mario titles, especially MK7, but no console to play them on...

EDIT: bought Saints Row. Battlefield will have to wait, at least until EA stop being so retarded and accept that no-one likes Origin...

I don't think Portal is as mod-friendly as some of the other Source games (eg: CSS, TF2, L4D). From my experience, opening it from the console is the only way to go. It's more Valve's problem than yours or the mapper's.

Sky Garden, Cheese Land and Rainbow Road were AMAZING, and I'm always sad when those aren't included as retro tracks.

As a secret ninth cup, they could do a lot worse than to introduce a cup comprised solely of old Rainbow Roads.

They used to distribute plastic spifes with kiwi fruit when I was a kid. You only put the spoon part in your mouth, the knife is part of the handle but it's not sharp enough that you'll hurt yourself with it.

There wouldn't really be any reason why not? MKDS had Tick Tock Clock and Peach Gardens as nods to SM64DS, so it's hardly out of the realm of possibility. MKSC didn't really have much of a connection to the SMA series, then again that was a bit of an odd game in a lot of ways...

This, in my eyes, justifies the need for a Mario game that does something completely new and original with the visual aesthetic. It could just be a one-off or whatever, but I'd love to see a grittier, more realistic Mario game, maybe with a different starring character and a more involved story but still a distinctly Mario feel (eg: not Brawl's strangely unsmiling Mario). Not saying that Mario should go down the Shadow the Hedgehog or Final Fantasy path, but it would provide an invigorating change for a series that is becoming visually and conceptually stagnant.

The Xbox 360 controller just feels so incredibly right to use.

As for handhelds, the original GBA was pretty good, and the original DS was alright too (the subsequent DS revisions just had those awful buttons I couldn't use properly).
