General Chat / The Croc Hunter is Dead!

http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/asiapcf/09/04/australia.irwin/index.html Wow, I couldn't believe this at first. Steve Irwin "The Crocodile Hunter" is actually dead. I guess it was bound to happen eventually, what with him working with all these dangerous animals, but in the back of my mind I always asumed that he would actually survive to retirment. Oh well, Rest in peace man, rest in peace.

Mario Chat / Did Rareware Ltd. Ruin the DK series?

I know alot of people (such as myself) absoultley adore what Rare has done with Donkey Kong, while others much rather like how Nintendo has handled the Donkey Kong license. I'm curious as to know, how many people here think Rareware actually ruined the Donkey Kong series.

Video Game Chat / Selling preowned PS3 games will be illegal.

It seems that Sony is planning to adopt a licensing system that will mean gamers won't own the PS3 titles that they've paid money for. Instead, they will only be purchasing the licence to play the game and that the software itself will still be Sony property - meaning that the disc won't be the customer's to sell.

Now, I've been praising the PS3 for awhile and have said it will sell more then the Wii, but I save alot of cash by buying preowned games, and selling old games of mine which I no longer desire to own, and I sure as heck aint going to buy a PS3 knowning that I can no longer legally sell games for it which I no longer want!

So, what are your thoughts on this?

Mario Chat / Legal issues concerning the Mario comics and cartoons.

I've recently started work on a little Mario website and am currently giving it a forum. Now one of the Boards has to do with the Mario comics and cartoons and I'm wondering if it is illegal to post comic scans, or links to episodes of the various Mario cartoons that exist, so if anyone knows I would greatly  appreicate it if you told me.
