You know, I've always wondered why these forums don't have a dedicated "post your art/literature/music etc." sub-forum.  I think it'd give the creative people on the Fungi Forums a place to showcase their work.

Other than that, I think avatars would be nice.  Then again, avatars and pictures in signatures often make the boards really cluttered and sluggish.. so it isn't too bad, I suppose.

Here was my Valentine I sent out.  I'll leave you guys to figure out who it's for, though it really shouldn't be too hard.

---

I know you probably recieved a bunch of cards and flowers from all the dudes already today.. But just one more won't hurt, right?

Thank you so much for welcoming me into these forums with open arms and being nothing short of an awesome friend.. :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Yeah, I drew that mouse up myself. Hope she'll like it.

Electric razors are one of the most ingenious inventions on the planet (right after Mario and videogames).  Some people think electric razors are not as "effective" as the manual ones, but hey, it works just fine for me.

Plus, you don't get cuts. Good stuff.

Video Game Chat / Re: EarthBound 2: Dreams Come True

When i saw that title, I first though it was some kind of joke. I says to myself, "Glorb, you knows what? There ain't gonna be know Earthbound sequel!" But i was wrong.
Someone should take off the "Dreams Come True" part of the topic.

Anywhoo.. Please excuse me while I switch to fanboy mode.

<fanboyism type="earthbound">

Holy butter biscuits, guys!! The creator of Earthbound has launched a website that periodically updates with AWESOME new preivews of the videogame coming out this April.

http://www.1101.com/MOTHER3/index.html

As of right now, they have the "Mother 3 Love Song", a brand new song from the upcoming sequel as well as three screen shots from the game.

..

Let me say that again.

..

THEY ACTUALLY RELEASED THREE ACTUAL SCREENSHOTS FROM THE ACTUAL GAME.  Do you know how MASSIVE that is?!??!  Oh man, they MUST release this in the US.  MUST.

</fanboyism>

So yes.  I'm quite excited about this game.

I like the groovy background music they have.

The visuals are way cool as well (much better than I expected).  And I like the little sparkles that fly off when the piece "locks" into place.  Nice.

Closed window.  I don't like people peering into my house.  Scary.

Sunlight or fluorescent light?

Video Game Chat / Re: System of Choice
« on: February 12, 2006, 05:17:58 PM »
Hm. If I had to pick one of the systems listed above, I would pick either the Playstation 2, or the Playstation 3. I have no real interest in the PS3 as far as the next generation goes. I'm far more interested in the Revolution. However, I have listed it here, as I would most probably choose the Playstation 2, since it can play both PSX and PS2 games. If the Playstation 3 is fully backwards compatible (I don't know if it is), and can play PSX, PS2 and PS3 games, then I see no reason not to pick that over what I would have otherwise chosen.

Simply put, combined, the PSX and PS2 house more of my favorite games than any other system.

I also understand it's taboo to many of you to even own a system created by a company other than Nintendo, but I'm certain the more intelligent of you aren't as narrow minded and are considerate enough of other people's preferences as to understand that opinions differ.
I actually have a PS2 and enjoy playing it.. just not as much as my Nintendo systems.  The PS2 has some pretty good games on it and so does the PS1.  The Final Fantasy games as well as the other RPGs the Playstation offers are really hard to pass up.  DDR is also a guilty pleasure of mine.

The one system I don't have any sympathy for, however, is the Xbox.  I'm sorry, I'm still just stuck on the idea that Microsoft has entered the gaming industry for profit and not for games.

And they stole Rare from Nintendo. Boo.

Oh wow, so where did I hear that my friend codes get deleted then?

*shrug*

Ah well. Guess that gives me more reason to get the Lite.

That's not boredom. Boredom is smashing your head against a wooden wall repeatedly.
You mean like this?

My gosh, with all the awesome new colors and whatnot, it's getting harder and harder for me to resist buying one for myself..

The problem with getting a new DS (for me anyway) is that your all your friend codes will be gone for all your games and you'll have a completely different friend code for yourself.

So you'll have to enter all your friends' friend codes and have all your friends re-enter your brand new friend code in order for them to play with you.

But man, the DS Lite is just so darn good-lookin'. :( :(

Meh.  I guess it's a small price to pay.  I never really used my GBA slot much anyway.
