I always thought that Piantissimo, Mario and Luigi weren't completely human. There are just so many additions that would suggest otherwise. There are so many sentient species in the Mushroom Kingdom, why not add another, subhuman species? I could go with the Yoshi theory (See Mariology)But that's almost too great and perfect to actually work. The simpler explanation is that they are simply a unique, distinct race.

The Yoshi theory was so perfect, it was cannon, until I disovered Piantissimo. At first i went on with the yoshi theory, denying his very existance, but I had to take notice.

By the way...i don't belive Mario & Luigi ame from Earth. :( Maybe their ancestors (But that's another thory. ;) )

I dunno, are completely sure they're human? I once thought so too, because I was intrigued at how Mario and Luigi could jump so high, as if they were at it all thier lives. I had develpoped an entire theory that Mario and Luigi each recieved a sort a blessing from the Yoshies, recieving all of thier gifst (I.E. Jumping.) They being the only ones to ever recieve it. Then as Yoshi's Island tells, the yoshies realized they made a mistake and return Mario and his twin. I believed this whole heartedly......until...

II Piantissimo!

He jumps like Mario and sound simaler: that squashed my theory real fast.

So what if Mario, Luigi, and II Piantissimo were all part of a human subspeicies? These....sub humans would be excelent jumpers,  competitive beings, and acrobats.  Why not?

We dont see any Kissing between him and Peach...not even a hint of anything beyond friendship. Does Mario Dig guys or is this just an off camera thing? O_o
