The T rating came as a complete surprise to me too, considering the original Smash Bros. is no more comic mischief related than it is, and managed to get E. But now that I think of it, the T rating should help somewhat.

May Bowser fry those that turn away from this game...

Super Smash Bros. Melee all the way!

It's ''buy or die.''

I can't say because I suck at Paper Mario, but it is funny when Mario trips into battle. Mario getting ahead of himself, huh?

Oh, and please clear one thing up for me...

What is up with Mario waving his index finger after some battles? It's like ''don't mess with Mario!'' I don't get it, but I must say, it's better than the peace sign.

Toad!

Well, it's true. I can't stand his voice in Mario Kart 64, that's why my favorite part of being in a GP is to blow him to kingdom come.

Glad to see you back Chocobo!

Next word is...

I didn't really like the non-Mario characters either. Leave Charlie for some other guy...

As for Luigi not having a chance to beat Mario, that's true for the most part except for a few things. Shorter drives mean more control over where you hit the ball. Shorter drives mean less of an effect on draws and fades. And if the person playing Mario isn't able to control the ball well or anything, then that's your advantage.

(more unrelated Mario Golf stuff below)

Just like with Mario Golf for GBC, it says that you're best off with an average drive, control, and Straight shot. If you want to get the ball into the hole, work on getting your control stat up. If you just care about driving the ball as far as it will go, bring up your drive. And if you don't want your ball flying 50 miles away when you hit the ball, fix your draw or fade (also known as hook or slice i guess).

I made the mistake of not going for control when making my character for Mario Golf GBC. I got a 272y drive (thanks to that long drive club), but control was terrible and my draw was almost diagonal, it being so bad.

Anyway, whenever I'm not using Mario or Metal Mario (That's right, I don't use Bowser much), my favorite character is Yoshi. A straight drive, fair amount of distance, and good control. Maple has a straight drive and can hit the ball further, but I don't choose her because I don't like the way she looks (or dances around for that matter).

Yeah, Mario Badminton!

MARIO: I'm-a gonna make you see birdies!
(smashes birdie into opponent)

Ok, evil idea. But Mario Badminton would be interesting to say the least (it's more original an idea then volleyball).

As for Kamek's comment on never seeing a volleyball game, there has been a volleyball game on the SNES before. Except that it featured nothing but tall female humans and bad play control. Talk about the game you don't want to be caught playing.

Although I never ended up getting a Virtual Boy (it didn't last long anyway, but I did get to play a little of Red Alarm), I remember the preview in NP about Mario Tennis, and how the characters were in uniforms.

I just HAD to throw away that issue by mistake, the one with the purple cover, our first look at SMW2: Yoshi's Island, and those 3D glasses (plus the ad of the boy looking inside a beehive of some sort).

There is one idea that we haven't considered though: Mario's Halloween Hopskotch! (Possibly the worst idea for a sports game ever)

Mario Chat / Re: Mario Kart Game Cube characters

I'm thinking that Mario Kart GameCube will have the same eight players in it as with Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart: Super Circuit. Although it gets me angry because I liked the setup of Super Mario Kart better.

What I WOULD like to see for Mario Kart GameCube:

Mario / Luigi / Peach / Toad / Yoshi (can't forget him!) / DK / Wario / Bowser / DK Jr. / Koopa (my second fave) / Kamek

Plus, if I were to have my way, I'd like to see the rest of the Mario Tennis characters in it, like Waluigi / Baby Mario / Birdo / Boo / Paratroopa (my fave in Mario Tennis / Shy Guy.

And can't forget Boshi from Super Mario RPG!

My mistake, they don't live in the same state. But the guys who tracked down the hacker's location are in the same state as Bowser Boy.

BlueDemon's Location:

Clifton Park, New York, 556 Rello Ave.

Real name: David Richards

I saw the whole thing. The new info we have on BlueDemon (unless he posted it, in which case it's false). BlueDemon making fun of your site. BlueDemon actually posting an individual section on his site trying to tell all of us you're lame. But BlueDemon's the lame one. Now that we know where he sleeps, we must take action immediately.

Anybody willing to assist on bringing down this hacker once and for all, speak up (I find it odd how Bowser Boy and the hacker live in the same state!)

Until you've found all 120 stars, you have not uncovered everything in Super Mario 64. And sorry to burst your bubble, but we've known about these findings for years.

Good to see your site is back up! It's progressing nicely, and don't worry, I have it bookmarked. So I haven't forgotten about your site or anything. Here's hoping your site will live on and never shut down again.

Happy Birthday, Ghetto! Yes, I know I was a little late on that response, but it's never too late to say ''Happy Birthday.''

Woo-hoo! Koopa Troopa is currently in first for characters we would like to see return! I'm telling ya, if Koopa does NOT return for Mario Kart GameCube, I'm gonna go crazy!
