Sony had a large hand in the development of Blu-ray. It isn't owned by them or anything though so maybe Microsoft is just mad that the format they supported didn't win or maybe they know everyone has a PS3 or BD player now.

You gotta admit though, if you want a Blu-Ray player, you might as well get a PS3.

X-Wing, my favorite MS-DOS game ever.

Which reminds me, I keep meaning to build a really good DOS machine just to play some old games properly.

I'm still confused why Chef hates(?) a Donkey Kong game that is more fun than DKC and is not a DKC game. (Nor did it ever claim to be.)

Don't blow into any cartridges. It isn't good for them. Clean them with alcohol and/or get one of those cleaning things that's actually designed to clean the contacts on a console.

1. The "Brown Note" doesn't exist.
2. Virtual Boy doesn't cause problems when used correctly.
3. I wouldn't recommend video games in general to kids 7 or under anyway.

This looks like it should have been an entirely new property. There's pretty much no Kirby gameplay shown in the trailer and where's my awesome Kirby music? What did Nintendo think they had to lose by not making this a Kirby game?

Yeah, I meant newer consoles. (And you thought you were joking?)
PSP almost sorta has this right with its component output, but mine's a 1000 and doesn't have it anyway.

Like someone somewhere said, what about Star Fox 2?
I have no qualms with playing games on a small screen. I still wait for the day when I can take my console games and play them on a portable unit with the same save file, etc.
Re: analog, it's just going along with GameCube positioning (whereas PSP goes with PS* style positioning) for the analog and digital. Switching it would just ... make it not conform to Nintendo's design ideas.

I'm only really a fan of the first one, and it seems odd to use what was essentially Rare's franchise now, but whatever I guess?

It's not really trivial though when you think about it. You always got a second to "instantly" refill your health in other Zelda games. Here you might bite the dust anyway.
