On the subject of Shadow Sirens: how come when Vivian joined your party, she didn't tell you about Beldam's plan to re-surrect the Shadow Queen? She could have at least given the party a heads up that she used to work for the Queen.

Does anybody know what course this is? Appearantly, the name of the course is Nokonoko Course. And also...

That video seems to be a beta of Mario Kart 64's Koopa Troopa Beach in Mario Kart DS. With a name like Nokonoko, it had to relate to the Koopas (since that's what they're called in Japan).

Speaking of Fire Flowers, how come in the Paper Mario games, Mario doesn't just power up and roast the enemies, just like the good old days? (you know, instead of planting that sucker in the ground and watching it shoot fireballs, or letting the cooking ladies cook it)

I don't do the Ebay thing too much anymore (I've been burned one too many times).

I'm here to complain about the people I work with (or more specifically, most of my CSM's). See, I work at Wal*mart, and any day that I don't have to work is a blessed day indeed. That's because most of the CSM's (people in red vests at Wal*mart) don't care about us cashiers. There are 3 that are really good at their job, but one is leaving (moving to Florida), one is currently on vacation (I think), and the other one.. just doesn't work often enough. (ok, so she just has alot of time off)

The other 3 or 4 CSM's just stand around and talk all the time (even though they've been repeteadly told not too), or they do things in pairs, while talking (again, told not to do that), or there is one that just completely ignores the fact that the cashiers need help. They carry around these palm pilots that we can send different codes off to, and they beep when we have sent them a code.

There was one day I was on a registar close to where the CSM podium is, and could see the lazy CSM. One of the nearby cashiers needed help and sent the code for it. The pilot went off and the CSM (who had been just standing there talking) looked at her palm pilot, and then just sat it back down and kept talking, like it hadn't gone off. One of the 3 good CSM's was standing there, his pilot went off, and he went to help the cashier that needed help.

Sorry, I just get so aggravated at work. My fiancee thinks it's cute and loves to calm me down, but I've gotten so frustrated that I had to put something up on the Internet somewhere so somebody could see it.

I hope not, but if Jim Davis were going to end the stip on a high note, why not give Jon the woman he's been after pretty much since the beginning of the strip (Liz)?

Afterall, it would make for a good happy ending.. Jon finally gets the girl of his dreams, Liz gets Jon and gets into a home that has a couple of animals that need her attention, Garfield gets lasagna, and Odie gets.. kicked off the table.

Oh well.. something good still happened the other day. I finally went and got my Lil Bro hat from MaxVance's town. Thank you Max!

I had a random thought just now: why didn't they make any other characters' clothes from the Mario series as clothing in this game? Being able to dress up in a shell, a Peachy crown, or Toad's vest and.. hat would have been great.

Well, we went and the trip was unsuccessful. The Toys R Us there didn't have the station set-up properly, so we didn't get to use it. I thought about going to complain, but then realised it would be pointless, since they had all kinds of other game systems set-up (by other, I mean Playstation and Xbox).

I have been talking to someone at GameFAQs about getting me a set. His name is Dave_the_Great, and he was still taking orders as of 3:40pm, central time today.

.. ok, seriously, I would absouletely love it if Toad were in SSBB. After the Mario Bros (who tie for first), Toad is my next favorite character in the Mario series. It would make sense for them to add Toad next, as he is the one of the only characters from the 'main' games that they haven't added yet.

After Toad, we start getting into characters that were only playable in spinoffs (like Waluigi) or have only seen one main game appearance (Daisy).

When I say one main game, I mean one that advances the story of the Mario Bros (like how they used to be searching for a way to get back home to Brooklyn..)

My fiancee reminded me today that the nearest Toys R Us is in Memphis, TN.. a mere hour or less from where I live. That's a long way to drive, but I think we might take it. Who knows, maybe I'll come back with a bunch of Mario items.

I would like to know, though, how would the game know which items you do/don't already have? Are they giving awya one item a day, or will several items just show up in your mail?
