Mario Chat / Questions about Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, and Baby Bowser
« on: April 24, 2002, 04:42:15 PM »
I was wondering about the baby characters.  Although SMW2 is a great game, it screwed up the story-line.  Baby Mario fell on a full grown Yoshi's back.  In Yoshi's Story, the Yoshis were kids.  Anyway, it says the kids are twins, and Mario is a few years older than Luigi, of course.  Next, regular Mario enemies inhabit the world, and they have been stated as Bowser's Troops.  As a Bowser generation, you never know.  Anyway, Morton Sr. died when Bowser was young, but does that mean Baby Bowser is Bowser's son?  What about the other Koopa Kids?  Could Baby Bowser be Wart's son?  And maybe Bowser's an uncle?  (Suggestion) and Baby Mario and Luigi are related to the Mario Bros. in some way?  Cause they definately aren't the real things.

Mario Chat / Mario games were meant to be happy
« on: April 22, 2002, 01:49:49 PM »
Did you ever hear that "Mario's for babies" or "Yoshi's Gay" (I only suggested it due to someone else's comment).  Well, I think that Mario games were meant to be happy.  Like "Pleasant Path" and "Sunshine Coin" make me feel warm.  I love Yoshi's Story, yes I do.  And the big happy heart is cool.  But other people might think less of these.  Thanks to Shigeru, more kids will grow up to be happy citizens with peace in their heart, and eliminate evil.  Mario is the role model of these.  Personally, I like happy.  Its not gay, but its pure good.  No mortal guns and blasting and blood, just happy characters that jump and collect coins and talk italian.  Best!

Mario Chat / Mario Bros. Stadium
« on: April 18, 2002, 04:41:42 PM »
Well, my record in Mario Bros. is Phase 99, and that's what I aimed for.  If you keep counting from 99, I'm on about 102.  What's your HS?

Mario Chat / Tunes
« on: April 15, 2002, 04:42:10 PM »
Does anybody have any Mario songs I can input in my Super Mario Bros. Deluxe game.  I have a couple, and I need some to write for those tunes from the Retainers.  If you have any, please notify me.

Also, did anyone ever get their challenge meter filled?

Mario Chat / Amazing Mario Bros. Record!
« on: April 02, 2002, 05:44:33 PM »
Well, this time in Mario Bros. Classic on Super Mario Advance 2, I made it to Phase 73!  That's right.  73!  Wow.  I surprised myself.  This was on easter.  In fact, I still had 5 lives, and I had gotten no Game Overs.  However I had to quit, because we had early church.  Then after that I thought to myself "Why didn't I just pause it?  I have an adapter!  Because I'm a stupid idiot!"

Check back for more MB records!

I'm having great difficulty finding all 20 red coins on Level 1-7 "Touch Fuzzy, Get Dizzy".  I can only find 16/20.  I know the ones in the eggs, under the bridge, between the mud.  Where are the others?

Mario Chat / Best system in the world!
« on: March 26, 2002, 05:37:02 PM »
Although this may start a battle, I would like to say that Super NES is the best system ever made!  And it is why I also love GBA, because GBA is a modern day SNES.  SNES has the same capabilities as the GBA, but GBA uses them more frequently.

SNES is da best!  No doubt!

General Chat / Say Uncle!
« on: March 20, 2002, 05:53:54 PM »
Good news...sort of...for me!

At 9:30 tonight I will be Uncle Todd!  My brother and his girlfriend's baby is born.  And when I'm babysitting it's gonna be conversations about Mario with the baby who can't talk, Mario diagrams, books, stories, theories, and I'm gonna make sure he's a Mario fan just like me!

Frostbite is NOT the theory master.  He may make theories, but they're not good.  Come on, he thinks Mario characters are like people and age.  They don't.  That's just like saying in twenty years Bowser will have gray hair, and Mario will walk with a cane!

Mario Chat / Super Mario Advance 3
« on: March 14, 2002, 09:24:56 AM »
Since nothing has been mentioned on Super Mario Advance 3, let's share our ideas on what it should be like:

1. Super Mario Bros. 3: You can play "Classic" or "Modern".  The modern version has updated graphics and voice chips, while the classic is the original game.

2. Should have some resemblance to SMBDX.  For instance it should have "Records" and the "Photo Album".

3. After beating each world, a new Mini-game goes into the Mini-Game shop.
After World 1: Mario Bros. Classic
World 2: Donkey Kong
World 3: Donkey Kong Jr.
World 4: Wrecking Crew
World 5: Mario Racers
World 6: Mario Slot Machine
World 7: Mario Pinball
World 8: Mario Arkanoid

The theme should be:

Single Player
Multiplayer (Mario Bros. Battle again)

"Super Mario Bros. 3"

then three things at bottom:

"Records"
"Photo Album"
"Mini-game Shop"

Mario Chat / They couldn't be more wrong!
« on: March 13, 2002, 02:19:05 PM »
Nintendo...well well well.  Now they got Sega and Squaresoft, and the NGC and GBA were so succesful that they must be rollin' on dough.  But I've got some problems with Nintendo's taste in creativity.  Their best idea would be to come talk to us: The players.  The kids in the modern day world.  Here they are developing games that we might think are twisted.  If they came to America and Canada, and actually talked to the kids that play their games, they would come up with some better ideas than they have now.  For instance, we could tell them to stop remaking games, and come out with something fresh.  Or perhaps we could give them an RPG sequence, and scripts.  Is there something that you've always wanted to see Mario or Link do?  Do you want Mario to have a spike cap and he rams enemies, or for Link to have a scythe for a small area of a Zelda game.  Sony and Microsoft just make: Football, racing, killing, killing, killing...ooops.  The exact same games over and over and over and over.  At least Nintendo puts thought into their game, and they're the only company that actually thinks of the game: And the player.  But if they talked to us: The kids, they would come up with better ideas, and bring out the best in Video Game making!  Nintendo's not doing the right thing by not talking to us, but they're still **** good!

Mario Chat / The Importance of Wario Land 3
« on: March 12, 2002, 09:47:35 AM »
I really, truly, badly need the enemy list for Wario Land 3!  If it's listed in instructions or something, please write it up.  I'm working on the biggest Mario project ever, and right now is the first step: Gathering the name of every Mario enemy, boss, and big boss in the Mario universe.  I have absolutely every single game except Wario Land 3.  I even got VBWL and Luigi's Mansion: All 50 boos, and other ghosts!  Please help me!
