Looks like I've passed the 400 mark in Pearl today. But now I seem to be running out of Pokémon to evolve...

I wonder how that behemoth of a bike handles on the small stages. Seriously. How'd Wario sneak that thing in?!

I started with Totodile in Silver, but Cyndaquil seems kinda nice too.

Anyway, here we have one of my oldest screenies. Come to think of it, does anyone else think that a new topic for SSBM screenies should be made so this one can go back to its hand-drawn goodness?

I choose Piplup if only because the Steel type that its final evolution gains make it resistant to tons of stuff. The move pool, however, needs work. Bubble until level 24...blargh... But hey, penguins are cool.

Mudkip is also good for nearly the same reason. Weakness to only grass makes it kinda versatile. Also, it learns the uber-powerful Earthquake. Always a nice move to have.

Squirtle is fine too, though it takes him a little while to get going. Again. Bubbles. But at least you can replace that with Water Gun before it even evolves. Contrary to what NP says, Piplup doesn't even learn Water Gun.

It's been ages since I've played Silver so I don't remember how good Totodile was...

Okay. So I forgot about my note to self yesterday. The good news is I remembered it today! I should probably start with my oldest screenies, but this one is simply too awesome to not do first...

I call it "Luigi Begins His Johto Journey"

Do I really need to say anything? Okay. Fine. I'll just copy and paste from my site...

Luigi's Adventure at the Sea
The story tells of Luigi getting stranded on Yoshi's Island due to a trick by Waluigi. While Luigi tries to fit in with the native yoshis, who don't even know what humans are, Mario has his hands full with a misadventure of his own.

Luigi the Yoshi Leader
In this sequel to LAS, Luigi returns to Yoshi's Island to relax and have fun with the yoshi herd. But only a while after his arrival, two zookeepers who are trying to save their zoo appear and attempt to capture the yoshis. Luigi, with the aid of Mario, Wario and even Waluigi and a few unexpected friends, does what he can to protect the yoshis and track down the locations of a couple herd members that never even appeared in LAS.

LAS3: Luigi's Eggsellent Adventure
In Luigi's biggest adventure yet, many of his yoshi friends have been turned into eggs and scattered across the world and it's up to Luigi to round them all up. He won't be alone of course. Along with Mario, Wario, Waluigi and the yoshis that escaped, Luigi will pick up a new ally during his quest.

The Mario Gang's Wacky Vacation
This tale...well...doesn't have a real plot. Basically, Peach gets fed up with dealing with the Mushroom Kingdom and decides to take a vacation. So she, Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Toad, Yoshi, Bowser and D.K. (and later, Daisy and Kirby) venture out to the tiny isle of Phillip Island, which is owned my Luigi's high-school buddy, Phil. Paradise, this is not. And just about anything can happen here. Toad swearing! Luigi and Bowser are friends! Wario plays Strip Black Jack and loses on purpose! It's all here.

After Mac (boyfriend) gets me another Pokémon game, I'm gonna see if I can charm him into getting this for me. Okay. I'm not sure if I actually charm him and make him do my bidding, but he sure can be generous.

Really? I showed it to my nephews and they thought it was a riot. They were even trying to dance along with him and kept shouting "Do the Mario!"

Hmm...I kinda miss the little guys. They live way down in Florida. A long way from Michigan...

Yeah. I didn't mean to do that. I guess that's just the sort of thing that happens when one runs out of ideas and motivation. But hey, maybe the camping trip that Mac and I will be going on in a week will spark some ideas. After all, a good number of things in MGWV are based on true stories. All those times Waluigi barfed? Every single one of them is true.

Note to self: Wait for mom to go to bed, then gank her digital camera and make with the Melee screenies!
