Mario Chat / Does SMRPG fit within the Mario canon (if there is one)?

Okay,
         I sometimes try to prove mariology theories by saying that the evidence is in SMRPG.  However, some Mario fans don't consider SMRPG canonical, because it was made by Square.  A few interesting details were put into SMRPG including lots of new characters (that for the most part haven't been seen since), a Mushroom Chancellor (Peach wasn't the head of government), a new layout to the mushroom world, and yoshi's toes.  So, how many people consider SMRPG to be within the Mario canon?

Simply put, without Mario, Nintendo wouldn't have made it very far. So don't think too hard on that.

I concur.  Nintendo probably would have gone out of business, changing the face of Video Games.  SEGA would probably have dominated, leaving Alex Kidd as the most popular character?  My point: All of the characters on the list probably wouldn't have existed if Mario wasn't invented.  Be glad, then go think about something more pleasant.

I HATE The Legend of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link because it was so confusing and it didn't make very much sense to me.

That game was a classic!  It rocks! Why does everyone hate it so much?  (Everyone because I've heard it's the most hated Zelda game)

All of the 3D coding becomes obsolete, due to the fourth dimension.  The obsolete technology is used to pave roads (owned by steamroller).

I fixed the bugs in the Ultimate Generator (Including Boo_penguin's, check the code)

EDIT: I updated it again, it now includes every comic back to 1985.  I could make it include every comic EVER but... Jon and Garfield looked different back then.  CONTINUITY PEOPLE!!!

EDIT AGAIN: I updated it YET AGAIN to include a variable date input.  Keep in mind that I did this all in one night.

I guess it's just human nature. If that prototype were the final and vice-versa, we'd probably say the same thing.

Umm... I dunno, I never thought protos were BETTER than the final copy.  I always do think that there are some ideas the could have kept from the protos.

Actually, the Pac-Man characters are all in the new Mario Kart arcade game (which I've played).  Unless I'm wrong, that's their most recent game?
