Video Game Chat / Re: Nintendo gets fined for anti-trust laws...

I think we're missing the point.  Nintendo's in trouble.  Yet, I agree.  Take out Pokemon.  Game Freak should be in trouble too.  They seem to take part in this article.  But Who cares if they get Game Freak sued 'cause of that 2-year-old crap?

Mario Chat / Re: Mario Music Sheets

I play piano and trumpet and figure out a lot of Mario themes.  I would give anyone any theme.  One prolem though...I can't get a scan of it and I don't have any music-making software.  But If I get my scanner to work, I'll find any theme for anybody!

So far I've found (with accompanyment)
-SMB theme
-Underground theme
-Water theme
-SMB castle
-SMB2 theme
-SMB2 credits
-SM64 credits
-SMW theme
-Octopus theme (from Game&Watch Gallery 1)

All these are my own arrangements.  I can transpose to other keys for different instruments to.
So as soon as I get my scanner working (or a music-making software) I'll give anyone any given theme.

I got a few more:
-I have the Mario fruit snacks
-A Mario Jelly pop from July (eww)
-I memorize Mario songs.
-I don't think you'll believe this, but I started playing Mario at 1 and a half or 2 (just take my word for it)
-I went to Wendy's in September and ate the not-so-filling Kids Meals for the Mario toys (who cares if I'm 13?)
That's about all for now...

Mario Chat / Biggest Mario Fan
« on: October 23, 2002, 05:35:36 PM »
I'm looking for the biggest Mario fans out there.  Just for fun.  Just tell Mario-related things you do to show how much you like him and his games.  Here are some of mine:

-I wear a lanyard with a Mario plush on the end of it.
-I have 2 of the same Mario shirt.
-I play Mario themes in band class.
-I have developed the nickname "Mario" by friends, teachers, and family.
-I beat SMB in about 4 minutes, 30 seconds.
-I was Mario for Halloween 5 times.
-I have a collection of non-video game Mario stuff of over 60 items.
-I bought a Nintendo (the old one, yes) a few months ago for the Mario games.

So please post yours!  I'll be looking forward to some of these ideas!
