Mario, standard cart.

By the way, what's snaking? Is it the same thing as drifting?

Are you sure?

Anyway, I did turn it off on my DS.
That's easy. Just change the start-up mode from manual to auto...

The warning screen isn't a big deal, but I wish there was an option to turn it off.

I can help you MM, cause I already got the sound test (you have to unlock every stage and player). And to get Final Destination you have to clear every event battle. And If you have trouble with the last event mactch, I would always use yoshi (a lot of flutter kicks and ground pounds, Giga Bowser is so big you can miss him) Eleminate GB first then use items to KO the others, And that is my recepi for sucses at SSBM, yay.
Or just use the Jigglypuff trick; use the down B move on Giga Bowser (you can't miss!). Two hits with the Down B ought to kill him.

Is it okay to cheat and use Google's beta? If so: http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.smashbros.com%2Fjp%2Ftoukou%2Findex.html&langpair=ja%7Cen&hl=en&ie=UTF8
That works for that page, but we also need:
http://cgi.nintendo.co.jp/cgi-bin/smashbros/article.cgi
translated. It doesn't translate w/google or babel fish for some reason.

Apparently, Nintendo is open for character suggestions:

Only I can't read Japanese...

Game Help / Re: Mario Kart DS Question

The strange, wind-like boost is called draft. Drive somewhat directly behind an opponent for a few seconds, and you'll get a sheild-looking wind thing around your character, allowing you to speed up enough so you can pass your opponent and get a reasonable distance away from him. The downside to constant drafting, however, is if an opponent has an item such as a banana, they can release it behind them, thereby royally screwing you over.
Draft... I wonder why the manual didn't mention it. Well, at least I know how to use it now.

How do you get that "shockwave" sort of thing that makes your cart speed up while racing? (I'm not sure what it is actually called.) It seems to be random to me.

What I think SSB needs the most is better AI. Some of the computer opponents are really stupid, even at level 9...
