Oh, there was a new member topic. I didn't see it. XD

I am a somewhat big fan of the Mario series. I go to a few other Mario/Nintendo forums under the name Mr. X (I tried that name here but it was already taken). I went to SMRPG Legacy before it closed down, I go to Super Mario Legacy forums, Nintendo City forums, and NSider (as MR_X8). I don't really like NSider though. Too many rules, too many idiots. =P

I'll try to be active here.

I didn't like that movie at all. I don't think it's worthy of having the name "Super Mario Bros." anywhere on it. It was just so off from the games. I know that it's a movie and the old Mario games didn't have much of a plot, but I think they could have done better.

I like 2D games better, mostly because I grew up playing them. Many of my favorite games are 2D. Yoshi's Island, Super Mario Bros. 3, Kirby's Adventure, and others.

Wow....just wow.

I was a member of the SMRPG Legacy forums before they closed. I am now a member of Super Mario Legacy. And throughout all the time I tried to help with the SMRPG GBA/DS remake campaign, I have never seen a topic about it get this big on any forum.

Although I would still like to see it portable on the DS, I am happy that it will eventually be available for the Virtual Console. I don't know how much time my SNES has left before it bites the dust... :(

Wow, that game sounds awful. The screen doesn't even scroll the normal way, how can you play it like that?

I absolutely love all the Mario Kart games, but could not agree more on how frustrating they can be.

Super Mario Kart: 150cc, there's nothing else to say about it. The game cheats you in every manner possible. Luigi turns on his Star whenever he wants and takes me out or makes it impossible to pass.

MK64: Toad's Turnpike on Extra. I've never won that race. The best I've ever managed is second.

MKSC: I can't think of anything specific that other MK games don't have.

MKDD: The handling seems really awkward in this game. It's most frustrating when you've been playing a different MK game and then go back to this one.

MKDS: Wifi is irritating. I love it, but hate it. The lag doesn' bother me that much, but the hackers, the disconnectors, and the snakers that seem to never get their hands tired out. I can snake wicked fast, but not for too many races, I need to rest my hands, but some people just don't need too.

I knew about this place for a while. I've seen TMK mentioned in posts on numerous forums so I've visited the site, but I never thought of joining the forum until just now.
