Mario Chat / Re: Why is the Mushroom Kingdom dangerous?

Reviving this thread because I cant post my own yet, but also because this is a brilliant point of discussion. I'm currently working on a Pathfinder 2e campaign based in the Mario universe and my current theory is that the giant subterranean pipes that exist in the universe are what all of the magic for the mushroom kingdom flows through, similar to the Mako in the life stream in FF7. My thinking is that sometimes this magic leaks out and leeches into the land and altering it. it's why we have bottomless pits and giant mushrooms

Hey folks! I've been visiting this place basically from the beginning but missed out on the forums. now that I'm older and newly transitioning and desperate for community I figured I'd see what the vibes were here! This site has always been one of my favorites and I could spend hours looking through the various pages and articles. I truly love this place <3

I logged back in when I told my partner I was here when Advice Dog was born LOL.

I don't think I was notable during my time here, but... a lot has changed. I shouldn't have been on the internet when I was 13. Fun fact: I came out as trans like three years ago. Life is wild.

I'm surprised this forum is still here, even if activity seems to have completely died off in the past couple years. Sure outlived the SMBHQ forum by a hot minute.
