Here's the preview. That has nothing to do with 4 plauers and gadgets.

"Mario Sunshine isn't really a game for the GameCube yet, but you can bet it is. Just because nothing is really set in stone yet, doesn't mean that we shouldn't look forward to it. What is known as "Mario Sunshine" now was first revealed back at Space World in August 2001.

This game seems to be the "true sequel" to Super Mario 64, as it's going to be a 3D adventure, a platform game. There aren't really many details about this upcoming Mario game, as it is still very skeptical.

Since the game is called "sunshine", it is in a very bright and "happy" world. Much like how it is in Super Mario 64. Shigeru Miyamoto had hinted at a more "mature" Mario, but this doesn't seem much to be the case, as it is still in that good ol' traditional Mario environment.

There are some new gadgets for Mario this time, he has a Sunshine Meter, there are Sunshine coins...wow, pretty original names for them, eh? He also has this strange weapon that Mario resembles a water tap, perhaps it is something like Luigi's ghost-sucking vacuum cleaner that's in Luigi's Mansion, who knows what hell they do.

Mario should still have all different sorts of moves, probably like how they were in Super Mario 64. Like double jumps, triple jumps, wall kicks, etc.

Graphically, the game looks pretty darn good, a huge upgrade to the now-mediocre (but are still good) Super Mario 64 graphics, looks like Nintendo really kicked it up a notch. There are really nice lighting effects, and improved animation.

Mario Sunshine will be released in Summer 2002 in Japan, and no date is known for the rest of the world, possibly more toward the end of 2002, so it gets released during the holiday season."
