From the various color changes Mario underwent during his early years to the introduction of his arch nemesis Wario what do you think is the most pivotal point in Mario history?

While Mario aligns with the Rainbow Coalition in Super Mario Sunshine, and Luigi joins the Ghostbusters in Luigi''s Mansion, we must look for salvation in the unlikely faces of Wario and Waluigi. Can they be the messiac saviors we''ve been searching for all these years? Only time will tell.

My favorite part was when Luigi finally got his own game!(Though in my opinion it kinda sucked. Get it?! Sucked!:D[Ok sorry to make you read all this but I think the little icons you can use in Yahoo! Messenger are cool!])

I loved the fact Mario got his very own RPG, Super Mario RPG for the [amazing!] Super Nintendo.

I also love Nintendo for FINALLY making a true sequel to Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine for the Nintendo GameCube... even though it might not be what we all expected.

I also loved it when Yoshi got his very own game, Yoshi's Island [even though I've never beaten it...]!

So many good Mario moments, so little time to enjoy them...

A HUGE turning point was the introduction of Yoshi in SMW. Or maybe when Mario teams up with Bowser in SMRPG...

Or maybe when Mario starred in his VERY FIRST 3D game Super Mario 64...

Or maybe when Nintendo got the brightest idea to have all of the Nintendo characters beat the crap out of each other in Super Smash Bros.

The introductions of Peach(Daisy was in Donkey Kong), Luigi, Bowser, Yoshi, Cape Mario, Wario, Waluigi, The Wing, Metal, and Vanish Caps...in short, EVERYTHING IN THE MARIO GAMES!!! But the key phrase is "IN the Mario games". This does not include the games themselves(although as far as I know, every Mario game introduced something new).

Mario, Mario, Mario! What happened to Mr. Andretti?

Mario Maniac, sm64 wasnt the very first 3D Mario game, SMRPG was. Bad graphics, but still 3D, am I right?

I meant Mario's very fist 3D platformer, since Super Mario RPG was [gasp!] an RPG!

And yes, in a way Super Mario RPG was slightly 3D, but it was in a 3-quarter view, and Super Mario 64 was a full-roaming 3D platformer...
