I wouldn't report him, as the whole situation seemed to be in good feelings.

Reporting him would only add insult to injury, so to speak, and wouldn't prove you to be a very gracious winner.

He was nice enough to give you a free day, anyways, right? :)

What backwards, crazy school actually took time out of it's apparently unbusy schedule, and made an arguement between a teacher and a student a big school-wide videogame vote  extravanganza?

TEM, I was thinking the same thing.

You know what I think? I think that teacher of yours got the votes, saw that the GCN kicked butt the first time, and then just said that the X-Box won anyway.

"Thanks Trainman for pointing out my mistake"

Um, heh, no problem.

Trainman- Train Horn Man <--- I''m with stupid.
Formerly quite reasonable.

Tsk, what a fool your teacher is.  He actually said that xbox is better than Gamecube, and that Mario games are baby games? Please!  /sarcasm\ Hand that guy over to me!  I'll fix him! /sarcasm\

To tell the absolute truth. I can't blame him for saying that GCN games are "Baby games."
People (especially adults) like to associate anything with more than four bright colors with children.
They assume that if the characters are happy, or don't wear long coats and shoot people, then the game is immature, and only for children.

you, and helping you be as successful as possible."
