What is everybody's earliest memory of TMK? In fact, I've discovered my first ever topic is still on the servers! You can read it here. I can't believe it is still here! Might I add, I've been a member since 26th April 2003.

My earliest thread... eh?

I no longer remember the title of it, and it had been removed long ago. Although, perhaps not forever. I do believe CashCrazed had some sort of way to view all of the threads ever posted.

But I do remember the topic. It was concerning the Squaresoft-Enix merger. I had been frequenting the forum sometime before that, but hadn't posted until I saw that particular topic.

As you could probably guess, my first post started quite the 'heated' debate. It was fun, but it ended with neither Captain Nintendo, nor I liking each other much. But that mattered little, as I haven't seen him post since maybe 2 weeks after I joined.

I don't think many of the current members will be able to remember this, though, as I don't recall any of them being here around then, save Lizard Dude, and Lola Prue.

Meh. There, you have my origin.

The earliest thing i remember was from a couple years ago when everyone got all crazed about Deezer constantly editing my posts... then i stopped posting for a year or so... and now i'm back. The only people i really remember are Sapphira and Chupperson... everyone else is gone...

My earliest memory of TMK was when I stumbled upon it and SMBHQ in the same day.  This was about 3 years ago.
My earliest forum memory was when I first joined.  I still set the searcher in the top right corner to last 365 days to look at it every now and again.  Right away, my signature bashed Pokemon, and Stealth Link (I can't remember how to spell with those symbols.)  said he didn't believe in my signature.

And now you know, the rest of the story.

I always figured "Time to tip the scales" was Wario's everyday motto.

My first topic was also my first post, New game Ideas, it was called.

Or is it?... *shifts eyes supiciously*

My first post (if I remember correctly, which isn't guaranteed) was on a silly story called "Yoshi's cookie Safari".

"Walk softly and carry a Super Scope."
"At Dukar, we place our emphasis on serving you, supporting
you, and helping you be as successful as possible."

No idea what my first post was, but the earliest thing I remember is agreeing with someone (Kat?) that HTML signatures would be cool. This was in 2000.

P.S. I've changed my mind since then ;)

I remember Yoshi's cookie safari.

My first post? No idea. I've had this name since... well, might have been 2000 or 2001, if not earlier. Unfortunately, I've never been a real frequent poster...

I do recall, however, when someone with the name "Super Mario" (on WebTV, with an ALT+space Space, not a true Space like mine) did something ban-worthy and got me banned for a little bit... that wasn't much fun.

... with linguini, and portabello mushrooms for all!

Ah yes, the 21 red coin thread in Extra 3 of Yoshi's Island. I remember that. I doubt I'd be able to dig it up, seeing as how I posted it 22 months ago.

Stupid Quotes: (10th Edition)
"Super Mario Sunshine is an overhyped, boring kids` game with a fruity name that got higher ratings than it deserved."
"Aaron S." - with a dishonorable mention to Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine (Issue #165, pg. 24) for printing the opinions of people who don`t deserve to have opinions.

Hey, I remember that thread, IS.  I don't know what my first TMK post said--I've been here for a very long time, but so sporadically that I feel like a newb every time I come back.  (I tend to take like 8 months off at a time.)

I don't think I ever did find the 21st red coin.  Well, now I have something to do tonight.  Cheers!
