Feb 04, 2004
Release dates set for four spring hits!
Both old friends and new faces pop up this spring on the Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance software line-up. Mario, Donkey Kong, and Wario are familiar to gamers worldwide and now Nintendo will introduce the United States to exciting battles--Custom Robo style.
Wario and his game developers are at it again! Beginning April 5, the 200+ frantic microgames from the critically acclaimed WarioWare, Inc: Mega Microgame$ for Game Boy Advance have been reborn in the raucous multiplayer party game WarioWare, Inc: Mega Party Game$ for Nintendo GameCube. A single-player mode gives hardcore fans tons of things to unlock and the huge variety of party games give casual gamers tons of reasons to keep coming back for more.
The multiplayer madness will continue when the successful Japanese franchise Custom Robo makes its U.S. debut on May 10. Gamers can choose from nearly 200 unique parts and 30 body types to ready their robot for battle. Multiple modes allow players to choose from a single-player mode, 1-on-1 or 2-on-2 fights, Tag-Team Battles, 1-on-2 brawls and 3- or 4- player Battles Royal. Prove yourself in a virtual battlefield and show your opponents who's the top robot commander.
On May 24, the famous longtime rivalry between a plumber and a gorilla heats up in Mario vs. Donkey Kong. This action-packed puzzle game, perfect for the portability of the Game Boy Advance, features new Mario moves and six big worlds with multiple levels. Donkey Kong and Mario fans will enjoy seeing their favorite characters from the Mario universe such as Piranha Plants and Bob-ombs but will be challenged by levels and new puzzles.
Multiple courses, a golf pro and a club house will all fit in the palm of your hand when Mario Golf: Advance Tour tees off on June 28. This sequel to the popular Game Boy Color version includes a new swing-control system and tons of courses, from deserts to forests to unique, Mario-themed courses filled with surprises.
