No! I'm not speaking about everyone's favourite speedy, blue hedgehog...

But rather - everyone's favourite mysterious, black/red hedgehog!! SHADOW!!

Finally!! SEGA had announced that on unspecified formats (more likely the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and the X-Box) there will come a brand new Sonic game dedicated to the one and only Shadow the Hedgehog!!

The game is tentatively titled Sonic the Hedgehog 3: Shadow the Hedgehog!

You now take the role of Shadow ALONE!! Battle through several action-packed levels in order to discover more about his past!! What is Shadow? A hero? An anti-hero? Or a villian?

This is what the game is probably all about since there aren't many details on it yet...

Check out IGN's release of an amazing Shadowy trailer released by SEGA of America, Inc. - to see it, click here!!

I actually just read about this on Penny Arcade.
It sounds pretty cool, but I haven't watched the video.

Why do they call in Sonic the Hedgehog if it's not even about him?

Remember "Super Mario Land 3?"

The new Shadow game looks so gay. He doesn't need a **** gun.
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

Shadow has his own game!  Sweeeeeeeeet!  I too don't know why he needs a gun when he can use his own body to slam into robots and chaos control to warp around.  But right now we don't know what kind of gun it will be, what it will do, and how often he would use it.  It could be cool, ya never know.

Something about this whole deal confuses me though.  I thought that we already saw Shadow's entire life in SA2B.  He landed on Earth in a tube and then Eggman found him in the same tube in a building and released him.  The only way he could have done anything is if he somehow escaped from the pod when he landed on Earth and then somehow got captured and locked up again, or if he escaped from the ARK to Earth and then went back or something.  Unless this is a new game after the events of Sonic Heroes and he remembers more of his past.  Or maybe something to do with a time machine?  Ow!  My brain hurts!

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts.  But I think we can all agree that Mario rules and that''s a fact!

I still think it's a bad title.  It would be like Calling Super Peach Princess "Super Mario Bros: Peach" or something.  Unless Sonic is a vital part of the game but just not the main character, I could understand it, but it still seems kind of pointless to name Sonic first and then have the subtitle be the main character.

Well they had to put Sonic's name in the title because 1. It needs to show it takes place in the Sonic universe and 2. In order for it to sell. Also, the game looks very clumsy since apparently you have to stop to shoot and then start running again. Great idea Sonic Team *Sarcasm*.

Shadow, the character that single-handedly thrashes almost all Mario characters, has his own game? Brilliant!

However, we don't want too many games:
Coming Soon- Shadowsoft Inc.- Mega Party Games!

Markio, I don't think that's actually the title. I think it's just called Shadow the Hedgehog, which isn't a bad title at all.

This is why my first post said, "Sonic the Hedgehog 3?" That game has already been made.

YR: Have you played "Sonic Heroes"?
Normally, I'd say that I believe that the makers of the game know what they're doing, except that there have been some real Sonic stinkers *cough*game gear*cough*.
