When Melee2 comes out, will you try online?
It would be cool if we found each other playing online. How can we tell if you are
playing online? Post your suggestions here.

Wow. I've never really thought of Online SSB... That sounds sweeeeet. We'll probably be able to find each other; doesn't XBOX LIVE already notify you when your friends are on? I thought it did. Even if it doesn't, Revolution probably will.

Wouldn't it be sweet if Nintendo put up new courses, items, and even characters online for download. You could buy new characters for like 99 cents (free would be nice too).

On another note, I was wondering about Animal Crossing DS. It would be SOO cool if we could create a neighborhood and communicate online and stuff... I hope Nintendo doesn't screw up Online DS. They could really do cool things with it.

Cool ideas! I have high hopes for SSB Revolution! The downloading characters, stages, etc. sounds really cool if it's goig to be real. Finally I'll be able to play an online game. I have a somwhat off topic question: Could I play PSO online with the Revolution?

Now I can get my butt kicked daily by my favorite mysterious group of online Mario-loving friends that I never see!  Oh joy!  It will be nice to finally play against someone who is equal to me since all of my friends are total Halo experts so I'm left to lose to computers.  But I may never get a Revolution anyway (and I don't want to say why) so who knows.

Downloadable characters and stuff = major fun for us + major big bucks for Ninty.  It would be sweet if you could design your own costumes for characters, share cool snapshots with other people, and also buy/sell/trade trophies with people and all that.  So very very sweet indeed.

I get the feeling Nintendo is only giving us online play because we won't shut up about it, so I highly doubt they'll take the time to implement these features, but I would love to see...

-a sophisticated ratings system
-anonymous matchmaking to automatically pair you against somebody of comparable rating
-sponsored online tournaments, maybe even with prizes like Nintendo merchandise
