What are your system sounds set to? By that I mean, what sounds go off when you start the computer, shut it down, empty your recycle bin, etc. The first attachment is what I used to have for my startup noise. I've always had a coin noise as asterisk. Well anyway, I changed my sounds to a wheres dezzer theme, inspired by Khold's crazy dezzer Text2Voice things. Those are all in the zip file I attached (the alarm was a file I timed to wake me up this morning).
All your dreeeeeeams begiiin to shatterrrrrr~
It's YOUR problem!

Nothing goes off. I hate anything that makes noise, but my music that plays through my speekers.

The only custom sound I have right now is Deep Note for my Windows startup sound.
That was a joke.

Hey, me too. Additionally, I tried out a bunch of the default schemes (space, nature, da Vinci) a while back and a few sounds never got switched back and I just keep them. Error messages cause a dolphin to chirp and monkeys scream on the other type of critical error or whatever.
