Author Topic: Mario Keychain!  (Read 2274 times)

« on: October 21, 2007, 01:10:23 PM »
I was at Hastings the other night, looking for a keychain that someone at work told me I would like (he's a gamer too). I went and found said keychain, and bought it.

I forget what the proper name of the keychain is, but there are six buttons on it, and each one makes a sound/music from the 1985 game (ie: Super Mario Brothers).

Here's a picture of the back of the packaging. I would show you the front, but I ripped apart Bowser and Toad trying to get the plastic off the front (the front and back look more-or-less the same, anyway)..

Hmm.. I tried to edit my first post, but my internet wasn't working for me (error page..?)

Anyway, I just realised I didn't list what the sounds were that the keychain plays. There are 6 buttons around a circular speaker, 3 on each side..

Upper left button: Coin
middle left: Intro riff (first few notes of the famous theme)
bottom left: 1-Up

Upper right: Small character jumping
middle right: Mushroom or Flower get
lower right: Lost a Life

For some reason I believe this would work better in Mario chat.

Went to the site. I'd use it but it looks bulky. Maybe if they made it look like a NES controller....
