Today I saw some Gray rocks in water. They reminded me of the gray rocks in Super Mario World. You know the ones to the lower right of yoshi's island. I know they do something but I cant remember what. Do You?

I don't think the rocks do anything. It's been a while since I played the game though so I could be wrong.

I don't happen to have the game, but the rocks are probably just scenery.
