Author Topic: Mario games were meant to be happy  (Read 2119 times)

Did you ever hear that "Mario's for babies" or "Yoshi's Gay" (I only suggested it due to someone else's comment).  Well, I think that Mario games were meant to be happy.  Like "Pleasant Path" and "Sunshine Coin" make me feel warm.  I love Yoshi's Story, yes I do.  And the big happy heart is cool.  But other people might think less of these.  Thanks to Shigeru, more kids will grow up to be happy citizens with peace in their heart, and eliminate evil.  Mario is the role model of these.  Personally, I like happy.  Its not gay, but its pure good.  No mortal guns and blasting and blood, just happy characters that jump and collect coins and talk italian.  Best!

You go, Todd Begin! I completely agree with you! Shigeru Miyamoto's games are meant to keep young children away from violence and destruction... That's why we have so many cute Mario and Yoshi games out there!

SHIGERU MIYAMOTO IS KING!

It is I, King Bowser... ruler of all Koopas, big and small. I have come to take over the Mushroom Kingdom (no, not the place...I mean the WEB SITE!)! Deezer, you will surrender your troops to me, or else you will never see your precious Mario again! Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

People who like video games should also like Nintendo. People who don't like Nintendo obviously don't like video games.

I like it that mario games are happy but yoshi games are just a little over the top. the only good yoshi games are yoshi's island and tetris attack.

Some of them want to use you.
Some of them want to be used by you.
Some of them want to abuse you.
Some of them want to be abused.
Yeah, your like an inch away from my face and it is REALLY creepin'' me out.

Hmmmmmmm I wasn't very happy when I got beat in 1 1/2 turns in a Mario Party 3 Duel game... :-/ Ah well, I can STILL beat that guy (possibly my best friend) easily in Mario Kart 64 RACE mode (He is REALLY good at Battle mode; He can actually beat me about half the time...) Normally I have fun with Mario games....

PS: YI AND TETRIS ATTACK RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never lost a match of the SNES Mario Kart Battle to anyone. EVER. I've played many people: my dad, my cousins, my friends, and they cannot beat me in even ONE match.

If I want simple and easy to beat games, I'll play Mario; but if I want blood and swearing, I'll play Conker's BFD.
