Wonder what it's like inside a Warp Pipe...

This is a strange topic about an important idea I never thought of.

I've never really thought that the pipes were actually tunnels. I've always assumed they were kind of... magic.

The world would be a much cleaner place if people would eat their own trash.

That's what I think. Like, you jump in a pipe, and you're somewhere else. Hmm... maybe they're tesseracts. That would be cool.
It's interesting... warping is one of the most common but least understood concepts in video games.
But like have you seen the parts of Star Fox Adventures where Fox uses a warp pad? There's a flash of light, and then he's gone. Somewhere else. I think it's pretty much the same in Warp Pipes...

I think when you go down a Warp Pipe its like a slide.They all connect at the bottom & you just go a random route.Like you could probably buy a Warp Pipe,stick it in the ground & jump in it!(Why cant Mario be real....)

You WARP, not slide. Warping is like a transporter.

You slide down then you do this really high jump out of the Warp Pipe.It can be a slide if it wants....

Warp-piping is not random because it always warps you to the same destination.  However there IS some kind of random-warp: Warp Spaces from Mario Party 4!  (hum, I wonder if Miyamoto is reading this..)

The Mario Party  "Warp Block" does more or less the same: it switches your position with another carachter.  The MP4 Warp Pipe is just a warp block shaped like a pipe.
