I was again unsuccessful at getting release days and months for Mario (Jumpman) early games.  Here's the most recent email exchange:

Hello and thank you for contacting Nintendo,

While we know that the coin-operated Donkey Kong arcade game first
appeared in 1981, we do not have a day and month.  Donkey Kong Jr was
introduced in 1982, and the original Mario Bros arcade game followed in
1983.  (The source for this information is the Mario Mania player's guide
that was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991.)

The home versions all three games were released on the Nintendo
Entertainment System in June of 1986.

Unfortunately, Nintendo of America is currently only involved with the
home console games, and we no longer have an arcade division.  However,
I hope that the above information helps.

Thanks for your email and good luck with your research!

At TMK we are trying to get specific (month and day) release dates for
the arcade versions of Donkey Kong, DK Jr, and Mario Bros. in order to
complete our release dates and establish a birthday for Mario.  Can you
guys help?
Thanks,
Dennis (Luigison)

P.S. Feel free to paraphrase any of this letter if you want to publish
it.

Does anyone else have info on the release dates?

We'd appreciate it if you didn't correspond to Nintendo in the name of TMK.  I guess you can say TMK's Fungi Forums if you want to associate with us.

I understand.  That's what I meant.  Sorry.

BTW, I updated your Super Mario 64 DS records.
