I watched The Screen Savers on G4 today (Friday's show) and they had several Firefox add-ons.  One allowed you to surf site that it offered you and you ranked them so that it would find more sites that would interest you.  I deleted the show, and forgot the name of the add-on.  Does anyone know what it is?

Sooo...you want an ad delivery extension? You pretty much hit advertising on the mark with "so that it would find more sites that would interest you". I see that line everywhere that offers ads, it usually says stuff like "Our ad system will deliver web site suggestions that are relevant to your users interests".

If I had a dollar for every brain you don`t have, I`d have one dollar.

Yes, but those are often parasitic adware/spyware. I don't mean to sound gullible, but a program/add-on being featured by such people makes it sound legitimate.

Did you check The Screen Savers website? They have forums and a chatroom, and I didn't look too hard but maybe they have show archives.

Duh?  Thanks, Deezer.  Subtract a few points from my "Nerd" score for that one.

I didn't find it on the Screen Savers site, but did a Google search a located several extensions on https://addons.update.mozilla.org/extensions/?application=firefox/.

The extension I was looking for is called "stumpleupon".  I also think "Tabbrowser Preferences" was discussed on the Screen Savers, and may be useful.

I'll post a short review of the extensions later.
