Well, yesterday I started the Preferences topic, so then I thought today, how do I feel about Mario games, so I'm gonna tell you which ones I thought were better:
Out of: SMB, SMB2, and SMB3
I always thought SMB3 was the pinultimate game, just because it was so complete and so enjoyable, so it is my favourite. I like SMB second best. Now don't get me wrong, I loooove SMB2, but I prefer the other two.
Between SMB3 and SMW
I actually like SMB3 better than SMW. (I know this was already displayed, between these two games, there are equal sides) Personally, I thought SMB3 was more complete, and had more special surprises. I admire in SMW you can go back to levels and get multiple exits, but I think I prefer SMB3.
SMW and SMW2
SMW for sure...SMW2 was awesome, but it doesn't have the same lasting effect as the classic SMW...I do like the originality, but still, it takes something better to beat it.
SM64 and SMS
Here's another raging battle, but to be honest I prefer SM64. I like SMS, but it was missing some elements that make Mario games even greater. (Ex. snow, forest) And eventually it gets so hard, that the only other word for it is gay. I felt SM64 was more the average Mario game, and very original, full of interesting and neat surprises, and very re-playable.
SML or SML2
You're gonna laugh, but I like SML better than its highly popular sequel. It just feels more classic, and I like it better for some reason.
SML3, WL2, WL3, and WL4
I say WL4 pwns this category. I felt that the Wario Land series was always good, but I think WL4 takes the gold...with SML3 coming in close second, followed by WL2, and then WL3. Remember, they're all awesome though.
SMW2 or YSt
SMW2 for sure...YSt was too short, and too...well...happy.
MP, MP2, MP3, MP4, and MP5
Since I have yet to play MP6, I'll go with these. My favourite was MP4 because I thought the mini-games (and lottery shop :) were AWESOME! It was very enjoyable to play with my family and friends. MP2 comes in second, cuz I liked that one a lot too. Then MP1, which is a classic, followed by MP3 which was not bad, and then MP5 which I felt was not very good at all.
SMK, MK64, MKSC, and MKDD
MK64 is a classic that can never be beaten. Well maybe someday, but not today. So MK64 gets the gold for this category. Next is MKDD because of all the neat stuff. Then MKSC, followed by SMK. I'm sure some will agree that SMK isn't that enjoyable anymore...sure it was way back when, but once MK64 hit, it's hard to go back and play it.
PM or PM2
Don't know...never played PM2!
DKC, DKC2, or DKC3
DKC2 was the best! I love that game! Followed by DKC, and then DKC3 in third.
DK, GBDK, MvsDK
MvsDK was pretty awesome, so I think it'll get first, but GBDK isn't far behind! Oh man those are both so awesome...it's unbelievable! Play them if you haven't yet! Then the original DK which is enjoyable because it's a classic.
Well, that's all I can think of...so yeah!
